Socialism is the workers ownership of the means of production. The complete opposite of fascism, and is why the socialist fought the fascists in Spain.

Fascism is a right wing system, socialism is a left-wing system.

The Patriot Act is beneath "them". Laws are beneath "them". What concerns "them" is continued profit.

That's it.

"They" can make money if another Pol Pot or Stalin were in charge. It matters not to them. It amuses them.

What we should concern ourselves with, is the "not them". The politicians, heads of state that can and do, impact our lives.

"They" could care less about elections. "They" are above that.

Side note; I once attended a party where some of "them" were present. Low level (gods and giants to us) "them" but "them" all the same. "They" operate on different plane than we do. Really.

Subsequently, our votes do count. It matters to us on our level.

Fascism is not necessarily racists. they are different things. Even lift wing people can be racists. Look at the ethnic cleansing by the Soviet Regime. They killed even more "ethnics" than the nazis did.

I would argue there are no left-wing governments. All governments are about power, which is a right wing ideology.
So called left-wing governments are just more liberal right-wing.

Agreed, IN my experience you will not find anyone more willing to suppress opinion of other people as willingly and forcefully as a socialist. After all that is what fascism does.

Hmm are you trying to say that abortion is a left-wing ideology?

Abortion is a personal choice, nothing to do with politics. Left-wingers support personal freedoms. Only a fascist would tell you what to do with your own body.

My politics revolve around economy, not personal choices. Social issues have been politicized for someone else's agenda. Mostly to divide us.

You might not agree with abortion, but you have no right to force your beliefs on others.
