I implore gratitude with your service to SAC. I was 4thLAR 4th MARDIV, then 29INF DIV 58th Brigade Combat Team without giving relevant details. Your willingness to agree that we are not in a majority (two party system.) There are several abuses for both sides. Do I yearn to give a man a dollar because he is homeless & starving, I do. I don't because I know he will just go to the liquor store. Will I feed someone in a soup kitchen, sure. Will I give someone something because they feel they deserve it, I won't. This isn't the forum to express those opinions. We are both on the downward spiral of oblivion as a nation. The ideals we believe in can only be brought by outside influence of the two party system.

Your service is honored as well, we have both been there. While there are many things we might disagree on, I bet, we could sit down over a beer, and come up with a solution to some of them. Some we might not solve, but I bet we have a better idea than the government. There are so many things wrong in this country right now, and so many factions claiming that they are right, I am seriously ready to head for the woods and unplug from it. But, if I did that, it might have detrimental effects on my children and grandchildren.

Throughout the history of the world many people of color, race and relegious belief have been exterminated by those in power to maintain that power and control.
The powers in control in America have learned from the best through past history and are ten steps ahead in thinking and planning.
Driving wedges of hate and division are a old and dependable tool that always works, young vs. old, rich vs. poor,
black vs.white, right vs. left , muslim vs. jew vs. christian.
MSM is the best tool ever invented it tells us what to eat, what to wear, what to drive,who to vote for how to communicate how to think and who and what to believe.

The Patriot Act and Excutive Orders were put in place to keep and maintain control over the people of this country at the whim of those in power.
They have the power and authority to declare Martial Law at anytime for any reason.
They have the power and authority and shut down any and all streets,roads, highways,freeways and bridges.
They have the power and authority to control and shut down all waterways, rivers, lakes, dams and coast lines . They have the power and authority to take every inch of land and every building, every home, every bussiness, every farm and factory also any and all vehicles.
And best for last, They have the power and authority to turn off everything , natural gas, power, land lines ,cell phones,water, cable, and satellite, and stop all commerce deliverys ie. gasoline, food and medical supplys.
(remember 10 steps ahead)
(Do you really think any troops will be sent out with martial law ? What a waste of manpower.)
And once this is all done, and the riots have culled the herd, those who have survived will be offered a safe haven
with food, shelter and protection.
And many will go willingly, traveling miles to get there, willingly give up their weapons and surrender themselves and their familys.
After many surrender then you'll see the troops, hunting down the holdouts, that won't be too hard with satillite pictures and arial drones.
THEY are so far ahead of us in this game that we'll all be dead or in the camps before we know what happen.

I completely agree with you. We may not agree on everything but we can agree on a solution. I think that is what government is afraid of. People deciding on their own right. Beer is wonderful I might add. I wouldn't think that yesterdays fore fathers were not drinking a beer while pondering what this country might entail. Heading to the woods is the last resort, my own problem with that is the family that could not bare. I have some family in government. They only call me when there is something wrong. At the same token, I feel they will already be taken care of in a SHTF scenario. Which is good for them, but all of us with PMH (Past Military History) already know, we have had government profiles since we joined. My own buddy showed me my own. Down to the training I received, my asvab scores, high school jrotc... etc.. It's pretty ridiculous. We that have been in the system have already been recorded.

I am partially going to agree with the old hippy right above you, because that is how I actually classify my self, but entirely agree with you, we have been marked since the day we signed the line. I honestly do believe the nut jobs on both ends of the spectrum are going to be rounded up at some point. Those of us, that can sit down, discuss and compromise, will be ok if we can avoid the violence. Not sure that we can avoid it, but at least can somewhat protect ourselves from it. I don't know if those of us left can come up with a solution to all of our problems, but would bet the solution we come up with will be better than what we have now.

Brother you have made some very good points, I am thinking you have taken some of them to the extreme, but good points none the less. While I will classify my self as an old hippy, I honestly don't see things taken to that extreme. I think things are going to happen in this country that we don't agree with, however I think they have to let some of us live free if we are bothering no one. We are the "Great Democracy" after all.

I don't think the fed is afraid of us, which is part of the problem, but I think they have been put under a lot of pressure form groups that want to file lawsuits, and they are afraid of those. I really am a pretty liberal guy, and drive through the urban core of my town twice a day, I have ideas to fix it, but who do I take them to, that is not going to make me libel in the future etc etc.

What I don't understand is that you all saw these laws tabled, then passed. Where was the True outcry? Where was the "No, you sir will not do this to us?". People speak of revolutions, etc...but from where I sit all I see are children pulling temper tantrums and thier parents saying "enough, we will deal with you when we get home". There was no real action to stop these government agendas...

You speak of American history, you are right, people need to be informed. What are they teaching your children in school about history? pacifism not rebellion. It is an "It is what it is" generation...so sad.

Well,"We the people" did speak out when congress wanted to pass the FIRST wave of bailouts. We won and that should have been it. But NOOOOOO. Now behind closed doors they circumvented our will, openly at that. That to me was a clear sign of blood. They did exactly what the american public said no to. you see what they did. Blood.

What are we supposed to do? start violent revolts that give them the excuse to enact martial law. No. There are some bright cookies on this side too.

We can play the waiting game too. And do.

The true test of time will favor the righteous. Like always. There are some things in life you can't teach a people no matter how well educated they get. No matter how powerful they are and how well informed they think they are.

Evil loses to good. This is not lala land kiddy stuff. It is the foundation of the society THEY want to install again. The glory of the kings of old was not due to their ways and forms before the great flood and other calamities. It was the ability to take from those worlds the best of them and create a seed from which all has grown again.

People will take credit for this or that discovery, knowing full and well that they are but the cup bearers to the future king ALL faiths have been preparing mankind for.

He will not be of your lot or mine.

He will be the creator seed from which all will grow again. In the end it doesn't matter if they win or lose. If not them it would have been something else. The point is this is all unavoidable. They would NEVER have given up. They must run their course in history. They have worked to get here. Fine.

The thing is, that is just the first step and there are no second chances. You install a flawed leader into a perfect system (like the one they want) and you create the end of worlds. Been there, done that.

We are just waiting for you all to catch up.

The common man already knows this. You have been missing out. All the comfort and privilege in the world cant open your mind to the infinite future or past of creation if you still think you or your own better than the seed from which you grew.

The reason why we "have hissy fits" as you put it is because it is the way of things. They push we push back. The do we do. They do their worse, we do our best.

In the end we need not strength, power, luck, or ability. There really is something guiding this all. It is beautiful. I wish you all could see it. The end is only an option when we do it right and all agree and work together.

The world of tomorrow has even those of their lot in it. Those of them that know enough not to rise to those heights, seeing the fall that awaits. Those of them that are true will survive. Those of us that are false will perish.

It is the way of things.

We are as one.

I have one more thing to add..
They need to believe again. They need to be filled with passions comparable to the ones that surge in their hearts when they see injustice. The truth must flow like the tears of their joy in times of great wonder and miracle.

When they see the light, the light will shine on us all like eagles rising. When we rise from the shadows like ashes clouding our eyes. The old world is dead and buried. The new one is not yet nor will be before we are honest with the situation(each other).

Something this great will not surrender to the yoke of force or fear. It must flow like the sprinting stallions in our fields. Like wild children. Dashing bravely into the waves of the sea of uncertainty. When brave men of honor walk all our halls by the virtue of our nature and so our creation.

That when the people see the miracle they are and appreciate the life that flows through their veins. They will see that worth in each other and dare not spill their brothers blood again. That by more than decree they shall follow he that leads. The noble heart we all search for. The gentile soul within that leaves mankind's eye blind from light of truth. Marked by always seeing the power of its silent smile we only perceive.

Happy people ma'am. That makes a strong world. A strong world makes strong leaders. Strong leaders make noble kings. Noble kings bring about new dawns for their people.

He has chosen poorly. The one is not chosen, rather he is a choice. He is the will of mankind as one. Who dares stand before it? Mighty sons of creation. Since our dawn a source of miraculous survival. Beyond great odds and still here for the onward quest of our purpose.

We must make them as titans.
Then the worth of anything will be judged by men of renown.

The people and the leaders in unison for the greatest mutual good possible. Then and only then should we judge feeling esteemed in our ability, less we think we see what we only thought we could see, or only that which we thought our ability could effect.

BiHotz, I am not sure I completely follow you, but sounds like an interesting philosophy.

Once people realize the only thing they can control is their own reactions to what is going on around them the world will be a better place.

Once people learn to be content with what they have, and learn the difference between needs and wants, the world will be a better place.

We should all try to better ourselves, but there are a lot of ways to become a better person, when people learn not to judge their self worth by the size of their bank account or paycheck or belongings, the world will be a better place.

This country is so far away from socialism... seriously I lived in Europe and this country has no where near the safety net they have nor the opportunity to dig yourself out of a bad situation ... I have met plenty of sick and homeless here that have no chance other than to join the ever growing ranks in our prisons. But hey ...whatever..
