It's hard to imagine an America where the fundamental laws of the land have been stripped away. Those founding principles that, for the better part of two centuries, made America the last bastion of true freedom in the world, so much so that millions of tired, poor, and huddled masses yearned to breathe free on our soil. These God-given rights, inherent to all men – the right to speak our minds no matter the unpopularity of our message, the right to carry a gun for personal protection, the right to be secure in our persons and possessions, and the right to be presumed innocenct and not robbed of life or liberty without fair trial – are and have been under assault for decades.

In his latest interview with the SGT Report, forecaster Gerald Celente of the Trends Research Institute warns of the multi-pronged attack on our liberty and suggests we are well on our way to living in a country not dissimilar to that of Hitler's Third Reich. While the signs are all around us and as clear as day to those paying attention, a large portion of our population, like that of Germany in the 1930′s, simply doesn't understand what's happening, or they bury their heads in the sand so as to avoid ruffling the feathers of the all powerful and entrenched American Police State.

I've been predicting myself that this was coming, for probably 15 years now. Looks like it's getting close. That has been part of the point with Occupy and the Tea Party; they've been trying to act as the canary in the coal mine. The funny thing is though, that the closer we get, the more the people seem to actually want it. The outrage is subsiding, and people seem to be learning to actually rationalise and crave authoritarianism.

trends can be a style of clothing, a way of thought, etc. That much we can agree on. I will disagree that when it comes to what an American thinks about from indoctrination as a child all the way up to adulthood, we have one thing on our minds. Our civil liberties. To many Americans who are well read in their history appreciate the miracle of civil liberties we have at home and would sooner slowly slice our genitals away than surrender what our founding fathers fought so dearly for.

The reasons for the revolution don't matter so much to me as the response that was garnered from the people. The leaders of the revolution may have had an alternate agenda, but in the end they listened to what the people wanted. The people fought and won. My god. I can't understand how self gratifying people can be when it comes to the sacred sacrifice of a patriot, even if far removed by hundreds of years. People have no respect as long as they sound like they are in favor of the ones in charge.(the supposed winning side)

The history of the US is a special one. I would sooner set my balls on fire than surrender it to the whims of what the world wants, needs or expects of us. We have been in a class of our own when it comes to mentality and mental freedom. The details may not coincide with the reality, but I refuse to think like the rest of the world. When some disconnected leader says "woof", They bark back. I don't hate the rest of the world but I wouldn't want to think like them. Look where it has gotten them.

I see another trend. People surrendering their free will to an authority like it was going out of style. People forgetting to read their own history and people siding against their own people in the hopes of pleasing the government that is meant to SERVE THEM.

i have to agree that the US is well on it´s way to becoming ´the reich´.

The people are well aware of what is taking place....

For all those people who think, "I'm just following orders..."
To all those brainwashed zombies that believe everything the television tells them...
To anyone who thinks that a paycheck is better than true liberty...

You are on the WRONG side!
The time will come when you won't have your television to obey.
You won't have a gov't teet to suckle from.

I just thought I would throw this in for an idea of what you may or may not care about anymore. You see if it applies to your life.

I think this extract from the Declaration of Independence sums it up quite nicely:

It could be said of every person in the US at one point or the other. For all those people who are so scared of jihadist storming into their local post office or school, you will be pleased to know that the future won't allow for any threat, actual or perceived. You will be nice and safe and for some that will mean prison. Nice caged environment where nothing happens without the consent of the enthroned authorities.

You can talk all day about the dangers of that type of society, but people will blissfully call us crazy for seeing that as a greater threat to our way of life than a few ignorant militants on the other side of the world.

Regarding history repeating itself, there are many comparisons between Nazi Germany and the modern USA. For instance, prior to Hitler’s rise to power the people of Germany wanted a strong and charasmatic leader just like a growing number of people in the US are expressing they want today. The German economy was in shabbles just like ours is today. Hitler outlawed school prayer and in 1962 the US Supreme Court did the SAME! Hitler eliminated Christian Holidays and changed the name of Christmas to “Yuletide” just as we are in process of changing it to Happy Holidays or Winter Break. Easter celebrations were removed from schools under der Furher and in its place was placed a Beginning of Spring celebration in much the same way that we are in process of changing Easter to Spring Break. And today in the US the meaning of Christmas and Easter is lost in our consumerism because both holidays have already been turned into nothing but one BIG shopping spree!!

Hitler used the guise of cutting down on crime and safety to begin gun registration in Germany and we are using the SAME guises and doing the SAME thing

Der Furher began to gain control over the churches in Germany through intimidations and threats. Today in the US we use the IRS to do that but it’s really the SAME thing! The IRS consistently holds the threat of removing their tax exempt status if they do not conform to government dictates. Hitler was a vegetarian and an environmentalist. Nazi marriage ceremonies frequently included blessings from Mother Earth and Father Sky. Today in the US many have become increasingly radical when it comes to enivronmentalism and nature worship is growing. The environmentalists have so strapped us in already that we cannot drill our own oil onshore or offshore and we are FORCED to be dependent on the Middle East for our energy demands.

In Nazi Germany pastors quoted Romans 13:1-2 as a way of encouraging the masses to obey the Nazi Government. Today in the US many pastors use the SAME verses from the Bible to convince people that to disobey government authorities is to disobey God Himself! The verse says, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.”

In Nazi Germany the German people became accepting of Socialism in order to avoid pain and MORE loss in their lives. Today in the US, Americans are rejecting Capitalism in exchange for government freebies! It’s just another repeat of history!

There is an ominous parallel between the animal rights legislation in the Third Reich and the Endangered Species Act in America today. The Book Understanding Nazi Animal Protection and the Holocaust, by Arnold Arluke and Boria Sax, explains the Nazi perverted and occultic attitudes towards animals:

In close evaluation of prominent Nazi military and political figures, it is suggested that there was a strong affection for animals, but and equally strong enmity towards human beings…Perhaps in their twisted point of view, their dedication to the welfare of animals excused their inhumane treatment of Jews.

The most interesting facet of Nazism is the abolition of moral distinctions between animals and people. (A rat is a pig is a dog is a boy.) They believed it was possible to increase the moral standing of animals and decrease the moral standing of people, thus integrating human characteristics to animals.

Immediately after the Nazis came to power, laws were passed that forbade the experimentation and dissection of animals for research. In their favor of animal protection, they even addressed the shoeing of horses and the suffering of lobsters and crabs being boiled alive.
