I would like to say hello to everyone here on ATS. I have been reading this forum for quite some time now, and I have to say that this site has a MASSIVE range of views, both views I share, and some...not so much.

I hope to jump right into things and start discussing things. Whether it is talking about 9/11 or about UFOs to weird things happening, to government and banks. Whatever the topic, I am hoping to have an interesting debate/lesson with everyone as long as it is civil. I have seen a couple of threads now that have shown little civility, but that was from a self-admitted "new poster".

In any case, I look forward to hearing from you, and if you would like to know anything else, just reply to this thread with questions or well-wishes.

It's an interesting subject that has fascinated me for years. Although I have never seen aliens or UFOs, the possibility is still there so I don't discount it offhand. If you would like to discuss it or share some links with me, I'm all for it.

Here's a few thoughts before getting onto any one of the 1000's of topical rides at Above Top Secret, also known as ATS, the world's largest Civil & Unique Discussion Community.

*** Please be at least this tall to get on any of the rides, (Johnny stretches his arm outward), and act like an 'civil' adult. This will save you a lot of future stress, frustration and possible action by one of your friendly neighborhood Mods!

*** Please remember that some members are very passionate and vocal depending on what ride you're on. Before getting on a ride, you should be mentally fit, emotionally stable and have a strong stomach for theories, conjecture, research and evidence presented that may be contrary to your own.

*** Please be "open-minded" enough to understand that sometimes the ride isn't always what you might think or expect. At times, you may learn something new and 'out-of-the-box' before you get off the ride, this is a natural and normal phenomena.

*** Please note that at times the ride gets overly-heated and "it's strongly suggested" to get off the ride to regroup one's thoughts before continuing. This will also help guarantee that the ride will move forward without getting derailed or explode into a fiery trashbin.

*** Please have fun! Be aware if you act in an uncivil-like manner, use profanity, troll, intentionally spread a hoax and/or get verbally abusive, you will be removed off the ride by a Moderator. This is for your safety, & also for those both young and old on the ride with you.

Thanks for the welcome. I'd post a quote like I normally do but your post was so big I decided against it because of the "No Big-Quotes" rule. I like the humor put into explaining the rules, although, I read the rules before posting for the first time (We do have to click agree before signing up after all)

I wish you will find some enlightening information here and be able to stand strong in the future. As for myself, you will find me mostly in the prophecies forum since I take interest in these matters and things are happening.. Also, I practice Falun Dafa Qi Gong and try to become a better person every day by cultivating my mind and body. As I see it that is the only way out for mankind, to become better.

I am an engineering physicist too, although my interest for such matters have decreased lately... I know Buddha Sakyamuni said this world is an illusion and I really agree with him.

/Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good, Falun Dafa is good.

Thanks for the warm welcome Gaussq. Prophecies are interesting to me also. I am more of a biblical prophecy person myself, so you may find me there pretty soon.

I have never heard of Falun Dafa Qi Gong so if you wish to share your knowledge with me, I would be glad to listen, whether in PM or on one of the threads.

The question I have concerns you saying " both views I share " I have tried to figure out what both views your talking about and cannot find THE ANSWER. Haha

This is when something gets in your head and if you can't figure out the answer........it could just make you constipated....lol

What I meant was that I have read both views that I have agree with, and have read views I don't agree with. I hope that helped. In any case, thanks for the welcome.
