Not only are they not working to staunch the outsourcing/offshoring tide - they are using your tax dollars to help accelerate it!

What with big companies actively planning to gut most of their remaining US workforces now on the private-sector side and boneheaded public-sector moves like this, does the US worker stand a chance anymore?

Asian call-center workers trained with US tax dollars

Via: Information Week:
Despite President Obama’s recent call for companies to “insourcGe” jobs sent overseas, it turns out that the federal government itself is spending millions of dollars to train foreign students for employment in some booming career fields–including working in offshore call centers that serve U.S. businesses.
The program is called JEEP, which stands for Job Enabling English Proficiency. It’s available to college students in the Philippines through USAID. That’s the same agency that until a couple of years ago was spending millions of dollars in U.S. taxpayer money to train offshore IT workers in Sri Lanka–until I reported that inconvenient truth in this story. The ensuing uproar led to the Sri Lanka initiative’s termination.

That article was way more offensive than what it alleges. Talk about jaded.

Outsourcing raped America, starting in the 80s and learned from the textile outsourcing by the south a generation before that.

The US provides aid to countries that are trying to industrialize. The Philippines happen to provide multilingual kids that will do it.

The entire capitalistic system is based on Europe and America accepting the output of slavery. Then we blame China for doing it to their own citizens.

I thought thats what the whole point of USAID was - to provide economic and humanitarian assistance.

And the best way to do that is to get jobs to people who need that assistance. You know, to teach a man to fish so they can stand up for themselves and get their own fish.

Is it your desire now that only fish handouts (to further that metaphore) would be available and nobody would ever be alllowed to be trained in a job so they can look after themselves?

Our tax dollars benefit EVERYONE around the world quite generously. But as soon as OUR MONEY is suggested to be used for the benefit of WE the citizens, the taxpayers, the answer is NOPE because all of a sudden the country is "BROKE".

TRAITORS. It is CLEAR that OUR country, America, has been infested with good-for-nothing traitors in office.

So a program intended to help out one of our allies is working, that is nice. No news here. We train our own too.

USAID is mostly a sham.
Most of it goes to military hardware or industrial projects in countries that cannot afford the services. Like hydro electric, roads, power plants and oil fields. All of this by globalist companies. So your USAID tax dollars go from your pocket. To the government. to the corporations.

Keep the poor, poor
Keep the rich, rich.
