I've had some weird experiences through the years, but one of the weirdest was about a year ago, maybe a bit longer. I always go outside with my dogs
first thing in the morning when they do their business, because one is small and can fit through the fence. My 2 larger dogs are ok out there by
themselves. My shepherd cross always comes back in with me and the small dog, and my lab always stays out for a while, he loves it out there.
On this particular morning, I came back in the house with my small dog, and the shepherd, leaving the lab outside as usual, we went straight to the
dog biscuit container in the kitchen as always, and I heard whining in the spare bedroom, behind the closed door, which also had a mattress leaning
against it on the outside of the door. I moved the mattress, opened the door, and my confused looking lab was in there.
There is no way into that room except through that closed door. We mostly use it for storage. I rarely even ever go in there, no need to. No one else
was home, it's just me and my husband that live there, and he was on the road - he's a long haul truck driver.
I still don't know how he got there, I'm just accepting it as a really weird thing.
