I was amazed recently when I found out that the one that made all of this (the logos) would be forever trapped in the body that He arose in, that he would carry the scars and wounds forever from that day onward until the end of time. And it's very humbling & in sense very wrong that He should be trapped in this shell, never being able to take another form b/c of His love for us.

This song is just SO powerful and heavy to me.

I like that Casting Crowns song too have had it saved for a while. It's powerful and this one is too, imo. Great songs OP.

I usually cannot stand any type of rap music but this is one of the most inspiring songs that I have ever heard. So many times I have raised my fist at God and said, "that's not fair...." Never realizing that if God gave me what was "fair" I would not be alive right now and all of the many beautiful blessings that take place all around us would not be here either because of our sin. Yes this earth is under the curse of sin and much pain and sorrow come along with that but this song reminds me of what a patient and gracious God we have because of the work of Jesus Christ in the Cross. Our sins are not propitiated because he was nailed to a tree and the Romans hurt Him. The sins of all who believe were propitaited because on the Cross Christ bore the curse of our sins in His body. That is patience... that is Love. I am the impatient one.
