Whats with idiots and parallel driving beside 18 wheelers?

Not only that, but these rigs have a HUGE blind spot. Basically, if you can't see the driver in his mirror, he can't see you, and that covers a LOT of ground being next to one of these.

i would like to add to your rant by saying,us cyclists are not targets! i know you have an uncompelling urge to aim your vehicle at us,or just generally don't care about us!

The only safe way to drive on a motorcycle or bicycle is to be convinced that everyone on the road has one goal....to KILL you. That is the only way to drive either one of these safely.

Here, that is law. If you turn (whether in a turn lane or not), you have to signal it.
