Great thread...it's amazing how much selection there is to add to this thread! 60/70/80's cartoons like The Flash, Spiderman, Batman, Rocket Robinhood and many others that have imagery that could only indicate the creators were more then a little twisted! Also there are tons of Children's book covers that cross the line and let's not forget all the Disney movies with their subliminal messages. Here's a few that I was able to find;

My kids have lots of these.

From a long forgotten film by Dr. Suess called "The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T" From 1953. Complete with mind control and 5000 young boy piano players who are manipulated and imprisoned within Dr. Terwilliker’s school of music. Seems way out there for Dr. Suess but I think he had a serious message. I think I know who Dr. T is supposed to be in history and what historical (WWII) events are symbolized throughout but I may start a separate thread to discuss that someday.

This creepy depiction was unsettling for all of us. Worse yet was when our next door neighbour purchased a lawn statue of a heron-like bird that far too strongly resembled the Jibboo when dusk arrived.
