Why are there no other country's military bases in the US??

Not complaining...but why? The US has bases or "presence" in several countries around the world...including about 40 different bases around Syria and Iran. Why do not other powers in the world have bases here? I have looked at this one: www.abovetopsecret.com...], but it's almost 10 years old.

Because America wouldnt be able to babysit them... Their too busy currently occupying the Middle East

NORAD is probably as close as you would get to having a foreign power in the US. at least every two years that is.

Because nobody has defeated us and we have not begged for anyones protection.

The US is the leader of the free world...

Why would, a leader of the free world allow for military influence of another who is not the leader to be present in their country?

The US defends the ability to become free, and provides means of doing so.

Because other countries ask for us.

That and because I don't see the Govt ever allowing it, they'd probably give some sort of "that would be tantamount to invasion" argument, even though we pretty much bully other countries into letting us set up shop on their soil.

I mean think about it...we have "embassys"...whooptie fn doo...

Base against whom? Canada?
All of the potential enemies are in Eurasia, what would be the point in having a base in America?

Since when does the US abide by what's "fair?"

Can someone provide a reason "why" another country might require a foreign base in the United States?

That kinda makes sense...US is surrounded by Canada and Mexico...no threats there...I think...but what if...Mexico decided that it didn't like it any more? What it Britain decided that it was gonna use Canada to take over?
