New Alert System on Android (what are they not telling us)

that's why i purchased a simple "go" phone a couple of years ago. no upgrades, no alerts, no apps, just a phone. plus i don't have facebook, i don't tweet, i don't "do" social networking, well, except for this site. everyone should have a little bit of luddite in them. if i want to socialize, i'll call a friend and we'll have dinner or just a beer together. i decide who i want into my life, as much as that is possible in 2012 america. i've long ago got tired of being "advertized to". most of the time i just want to be left alone.
