Looking Back over my Predictions from 4 years ago.

In 2008, I authored quite a few threads, detailing what would happen if Obama got elected. Some of the posts got few responses,including this one, which got 1 response:

I would like to revisit some of those, to see how we did, predicting what would happen:

Of course, the first one is obvious. In my post, I went over Article 1 - The Legislative Branch Section 8 - Powers of Congress , and explained that nowhere in that article did the Constitution grant Congress the authority to create and regulate a health care system, and also cited James Madison, in the Federalist paper #45, prior to being encoded in the Bill of rights, Article 10. I concluded:

We continue to see the DESTRUCTION of the US Constitution by Congress and a willing Executive branch. The only way that a national health care program could be LEGALLY instituted by Congress is with a Constitutional Amendment. In fact, virtually ANY social program instituted by Congress is Unconstitutional. Whether it would benefit the citizens or not, is not the issue. If Congress feels strongly about it, they should follow the proper Constitutional law, and proceed with the Amendment route.

I believe, without a doubt, that the Supreme Court will upheld that view.

On another thread, I warned about the crooked midnight passage of stealth entries into the "bailout" bill that allocated billions for "Green Technology" Companies, and allowed the IRS to conduct undercover operations, and immunized them against entrapment, and running of businesses posing as tax consultants and other firms.

Just an excerpt from Putin's warning shows how right he was:

Today, as many of you know, the US officially ended, and mothballed the Shuttle program, leaving the US to depend upon Russia to shuttle American Astronauts onto the Space Station. I discussed this in the thread, four years ago:

President-elect Obama will have to decide the fate of the costly U.S. space program amid a global recession and skyrocketing deficits. Obama faces a decision at the end of April on whether to continue the Space Shuttle initiative, which NASA otherwise plans to shut down.

Why am I posting this OP? Hopefully, people will learn from the mistakes of history. If not, we will repeat them at our own peril. I am not pushing either Obama or Romney, because they are merely two sides of a bad penny, but I am asking people to wake up, get involved in what is happening to the US, and do something before it is too late. The way things are going, we don't have much time, before we truly live in a state that will make Nazi Germany look like Disney World.

So, in order to have a functioning government we need to scrap the US constitution, as it's been failing us since its inception?

Excuse me, I didn't realize that you considered reading the Constitution, citing it, and interpreting the health care law, BASED upon the constitution, was considered a MSM source. I actually thought that the Founding Fathers wrote it. Maybe you need a history lesson.

I think the real point is that there were some people out there who saw though Obama's schtick four years ago; were not completely blinded by his vacuous promises of "hope" and "change"...and that if people don't learn from what he has now actually done - they are going to get 4 more years of the same (or worse).

Obama is more than happy to preside over the decline of the United States. He is quite comfortable with this idea of "leading from behind"...that means you let someone else be in front.

Obama wants to move more swiftly along the path of socialized everything...and more Government intervention in everything. He stands back and admires what China, for example, has done - and would like to emulate them and their system of economic development and centralized control. And of course...everybody take heed please...this requires that the population be controlled, for information to be managed (to a far greater degree than it is now) and for dissent to be stepped on...hard.

For me, the true qualities of this man were very clearly revealed very early on - when he accepted the Noble Peace Prize (and the money that goes along with it), even though he had not actually done anything to earn it.

And then, after he continued to wage the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, expanded the drone wars to include Pakistan, Yemen, the Sudan (and other places), and continues down the path that is going to result in a potentially huge military altercation with Iran...he did not give it back.

The man is a fraud...an illusion made for your entertainment (America's first "Black President"...who is just as caucasian as he is African American)...who has complete contempt for the Constitution...who has no respect for the Supreme Court...who places the rights of illegals over citizens (hmmm...is this personal, do you think?)...who wants to redistribute your wealth (which means all dollars go through him...and he will decide who gets what).

Yes, some people saw through this man - actually had a clue what he meant by "change".

And, just as true, those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Anyone...and I mean anyone...who votes for this guy in 2012 falls into one of four categories

1) Completely stupid
2) Completely uninformed
3) Wants the Government to take care of them in every way...ie. are afraid the GOP would take away their "entitlements" (and doesn't realize that every Government check comes with very strong strings attached).
4) Feels they can personally benefit by being on the inside of a totalitarian system.

Exactly. You said it better than I obviously did, since some did not seem to understand why I posted it. I think one of the things that ANY electorate SHOULD do, is investigate beyond what the MSM feeds to them, since they have an agenda. The problem is that leaves the rest of us in a mess. Obama was a great speaker, but many never looked BEYOND that. His acts, lack of experience, and his mentors, should have been a signal
to investigate further. There was a mustachioed private in Germany in the 1920'ss and 1930's who was also a great speaker, and look what happened with that. People fail to understand that Hitler was actually elected by the German people. Now I'm not saying Obama is Hitler, but I am saying that an uneducated electorate can lead to a very bad situation. Anyone that does not understand how dire our economic situation is today, because of that, should understand that continuing on the present path, regardless of who becomes President, WILL lead to complete economic collapse. Like it or not, that is fact. On our present path, our National Debt will soon exceed our entire economic output. On the present path, none of us will be posting in 4 years, between the increased totalitarian nature of the current system, and the economic destruction of all but the very few.

You're a funny person. Really. You want to know if I'm Al Gore, you make remarks like those above, and you accuse ME of being belligerent.
First of all, since you obviously do not wish to read the entire set of posts, which I linked to, and since ATS rules prohibit me from doing that, I can't help it if you don't want to read the posts, which clearly state what would happen if Obama got elected.
Therefore, I see no reason to continue trying to communicate with you, as you don't wish to do your homework. I won't do it for you.
By the way, perhaps you are not aware of the ATS rules, which CLEARLY prohibit any solicitation for business. I point to your profile, which clearly violates the rules of ATS. You really seem to have a problem following directions. Your profile:
