I would agree with you except this isn't Occupy. This is MoveOn and their first round of "training" was selling Obama buttons etc...I can't see many Occupiers being in support of that.

This is aimed at the Van Jones scams.

This is a much more effective strategy, for them to attack Occupy. The few of us here who know better, know that this is a different movement. In the minds of those doing this, however, people like us don't matter.

The 90% who sit in their living rooms, who stare, drooling, semi-comatose, into their 30 inch TV screens, and who believe every word that Bill O'Reilly tells them, on the other hand; they will believe this.

The sheep are the intended audience for this, as usual. As long as the sheep believe the official narrative, the 5-10% of us who do have a brain in our heads, don't matter. We don't have access to the podium in order to tell the sheep differently, and even if we did, they'd shout us down.

The sheep are who Occupy really need, in order to win. The sheep are who everyone needs. They're the prize. Whoever owns the sheep, wins the game.

You're not wrong and I guess that's where my passion and anger comes from, not that it matters on this forum when I present accurate information as opposed to what you cite. I guess good ole boy Bill who gets paid to mock, smear and poison means more than me doing it for free from my heart and soul.

i support ANYONE who peacefully assembles under the banner of the 99%
AS LONG AS,
there is no corperate or political donations,
and NON VIOLENCE is a CORE message with FREE ASSEMBLY

I think it simply comes down to the fact that the right-wing couldn't organize enough people to get the Tea Party off the ground, even with massive media pandering and the millionaires backing them.

Basically, they're pissed that the youth are motivated to change things without conforming to the right. They can't stand the idea that this is a genuine emotive movement that has actually gained traction with the masses, without being politically divided. That's why they insist on making it a leftists group.

They want their party, but they're so confined by their left/right mentality they can't bear to accept that they want the same things too and actually join in.

You just need to see them all spouting their usual "communism" BS to see the real motivation behind their attacks. When a person criticizing Occupy uses terms like "lefty", "hippie" or "commie" you know they're just another right-wing crazy who's throwing their toys out of the pram because it's not a Republican movement that's being supported.

The problem is the infiltrations and the financial agendas.

Van Jones has a self serving financial agenda. He's selling a book (again).

That alone is a corporate infiltration.

tptb are scared to death of occupy because its a real grass roots movement,
and because it exposes the MSM complisity to hide the reality of the situation from the population.
because occupy takes no corperate donations and publishes their financial records online,
it is clear to see occupy has not been co-opted by monied interests.

they realise that we are growing because we represent the people and only work in their interest,

and this exposes them for not doing their job. so they latch onto the movement or they would become irrelevant.
