Coded Language

This is an incredible live reading of a song by Saul Williams. I think this will resonate with most of us, and wanted to share this moving piece of art. (One or two bad words, just warning.)

I hugely dig this kind of thing...thanks for posting the video and the words to the poem, as well...that way there is no confusion.

When playing with words for fun or for creating, even though it seems to many looking on that it is slap-dash haphazard anything goes...it isn't...it must be as precise as one's 'routine' way of speaking....even more so, actually, since not too many individuals are interested in linguistic precision on an every day basis...

But the ideas we think become the words we speak become the life we live....tomorrow.

And we don't live alone or without affecting others...so we must make our words 'count' if we are sending them out with directive intention.

I agree completely. There are so many layers of meaning and subject covered in this specific poetry, religion, philosophy, even some conspiracy touched very lightly on. It's worth several reads to me.
