Stuxnet was Planted by Iranian Double Agent Using Memory Stick
(from original source: Stuxnet Loaded by Iran Double Agents)
(Story broke April 11, 2012 - mods if this isn't the correct forum please move)

The Stuxnet computer worm used to sabotage Iran's nuclear program was planted by a double agent working for Israel. The agent used a booby-trapped memory stick to infect machines deep inside the Natanz nuclear facility, according to a report published on Wednesday.

The worm is believed to have been placed on a specially crafted USB memory stick and handed over to a Natanz worker who, by all accounts, was an Iranian national belonging to a dissident group named Mujahideen-e Khalq (MEK).

"The MEK has been listed as a 'foreign terrorist organization' since 1997 because of deadly attacks on Americans abroad, but members of the group have been trained at a secret site in Nevada. U.S. officials consider them 'the assassination arm of Israel’s Mossad intelligence service' as they have been connected to the killing of five Iranian nuclear scientists since 2007.

Former and senior U.S. officials believe nuclear spies belonged to the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK), which Israel uses to do targeted killings of Iranian nationals, they said. “The MEK is being used as the assassination arm of Israel’s Mossad intelligence service,” said Vince Cannistraro, former head of the CIA’s Counterterrorism. He said the MEK is in charge of executing “the motor attacks on Iranian targets chosen by Israel. They go to Israel for training, and Israel pays them.” Other former agency officials confirmed this.

Can the USA and Israel still hold the high-moral ground if we are purposely training and paying dissident groups to murder scientists in Iran and sabotage their fledgling nuclear power industry? Or is this all justified to keep Iran in the dark ages?

The level of duplicity and complicity in this by all concerned is deeply troubling.

The MEK are also called the "People's Mujahedin of Iran", and like the former Mujahedin of Afghanistan, which also received military and intelligence aid from the US, this group has been at war with US policy since the days of the Shah, and waged guerrilla campaigns against US targets throughout the 70's. Now we are bringing them to Nevada and giving them military and financial aid while they take their dissident war to the current Iranian regime.

I would love to see the reaction from Americans if Iranians released a worm at an American nuclear plant. All we would hear about is how murderous muslims are and Iran should be wiped from the map...

...but since we are in cahoots with this one, we will just shrug and say "meh?"

If this can be proven beyond a doubt (don't know the authenticity of the source article) then this openly shows the US and Israel training people to do terrorist activity. The whole Al-CIA-da parody name could be proven true.

War on (self created) Terrorism?

Although I do not agree with the War on Terror (because, personally, that war doesn't exist), this is not about terrorism.

It can be labelled as such, and be portrayed in the media as such...but it isn't.

This is the same sort of thing that happened between URSS and the US for decades. The whole spy thing. If this is proven to be true, then it shows that the spy-machine in the US is as strong as it has ever been, with the capability to infiltrate and carry on operations deep in hostile territory.

But this isn't terrorism. It's sabotage.

What people need to question is... If the US is able to carry on such complex operations, and is able to infiltrate so deeply into the Iranian complex to the point they can install a trojan virus that cripples their nuclear program...

...then why wasn't the CIA capable of stopping simple terrorist attacks in years?...

Just putting that out there.
