There has been a lot of drying up lately.....I would love to be a salvager of the skeleton coast,there is no original ideas here any more

That is an awesome pic!

I live on a lake, and the lake levels were down several feet last summer. It was crazy to have so much coast visible that used to be underwater.

I spent half the summer wanting to take a metal detector down there and see what came up. Not for straight up financial reasons like people who metal detect beaches looking for coins or jewelry, but just to find interesting and cool things. Of course it was always way too hot.

We did my grandfather's backyard once and found small metal toys 50+ years old and things, so I'm sure doing that around a lake would have resulted in much cooler finds.
