Hello ATS!

Just seen this news flash from Irish Weather Online's FB page:

US WEATHER : Severe and potentially Life threatening tornado outbreak forecasted for tomorrow in areas of Kansas and Texas. Lets all hope they take the warnings seriously and prepare for whats to come .

My family lives in Texas, Luckily they haven't been bothered with any tornadoes yet.

According to our weather channel here in the US, the real threat today is in Oklahoma, with a few other states sharing a little of the action zone:




Tomorrow, the action elongates throw a weird narrow band in Texas up through Oklahoma and Kansas, and points to the north:

It's just that time of year on the central plains, unfortunately.

It basically runs throughout 'tornado alley'. Iowa says 'moderate risk', but on the local news, they said the potential is really anywhere in the midwest. "Another event like the Texas outbreak a couple weeks ago" was exactly what was said. Mostly Kansas and Oklahoma are in the 'red' area, but it's pretty widespread throughout the entire midwest. Should make for an interesting day/night tomorrow/Sunday.
