When I was younger, I played the recorder, harmonica, xylophone and violin. These days, I sometimes play guitar but mostly enjoy listening to music instead of making it. One day I hope to learn bass, drums and piano. Wish I could sing

If we're talking about which ones we can play well (haha) then I have to say just guitar. I've been playing for 12 years, since I was 13

Just wanted to say that in jr high school and high school I played piano, trumpet, baritone, tuba, french horn, clarinet, sax, and a pearl double kicker drum set. I even took a few violin lessons. Trumpet is my strong suit but I can literally pick up any instrument and play it. Even play guitar and right my own lyrics now. I love music and believe that it is a universal language. Thank you and you all have a blessed day.

As you can see from my avatar, I play drums, lett-handed unusually, but I also had classical piano lessons at school, and I sometimes play keyboards, I have tried to write a few songs, but they ddon't amount to much,

Trumpet, French Horn, Guitar, Key and I sing. Actually, in high school, I received the National Choral Award. Seems we have a lot of talent here on ATS. Maybe we should get a group going.

Mate It's this one actually =)

As a tech geek I have mass respect for digital instruments, I think it's a good direction and pushes sounds to new heights and increases the amount of sound a single person can generate.

Great Thread S&F.
Our daughter is still learning to play her 21 string Guzheng it looks like this.

My sister and myself play the 23 stringed Guzheng. Yes it is a very old Chinese instrument, I believe it dates to the Hans dynasty.

Of-course my sister has always been Much Better and I have and always well be Very Proud of her.
Here is a video if anyone is interested.

When the family gets together, my husband just leans back and listens, he can't Sing,,,,, Thanks The G_ds!

I wanted to add another video with my sister and the Girls all playing Traditional Chinese Instruments. I hope you enjoy the instruments.

I've been teachiing myself the acoustic guitar for about a year now, really enjoy it, i love the fact that you can take it anywhere, and i've passed the knowledge onto my daughters who are better than me now lol.

I also recently bought myself an open backed banjo, have always loved bluegrass so i thought it was time to bite the bullet and get one. Have ought a mandolin too.

If i was in charge of the country, i'd give every child an instrument of their choice.

CX.
