What's with the points?

Hi ATS

Thanks for letting me join this community and have my opinions read by you. I am everything you imagine me to be thanks to the power of google. You do not know me and yet you read my posts. Why would you care to agree or disagree with the opinion of a stranger on the web? Why would you take precious time out of your beautiful lives to discredit me or praise me, I AM NO ONE. It's because you want the credit, you want a star on your opinion like you're in elementary school.

So why do we have this ridiculous point system? So we know who is popular and who isn't? Is this just like facebook and the number of friends you have? I think the people that started this site have a great understanding of how the human brain works and how to trigger addictive traits in people. I wonder if that's why people find stupid articles from MSN, Fox and try to be the first people to post it on ATS, to get [SNIP] stars and flags.

What do you think? Why are you addicted to this site?

You are right. I am a troll, I am trying to be clever, I am all those things and more. You get a star and flag and 8000 ATS points for being so smart and for thinking outside the box. If you work really hard you can be as cool as phage

Im addicted to this site because godlikeproductions sucks lol. Its filled with nothing but disinfo. Granted this site has lots of disinfo too but at least some of it is legit info.

I think its for fun...

and there is usually a reason why some one doesn't have many stars on their account... depending of course on how long they've been a member...

I see you have more posts than stars. Does that mean that most of your posts sucked and didn't deserve any stars? Are your opinions any less valid because your post to stars ratio isn't 1 for 1?

LOL don't you mean the ATS police. There are no good mods there is the illusion of good but they are all part of the same [SNIP] system. If the system is bad then the mods must be bad.
