Atheists and agnostics, Jews and Mormons are among the highest-scoring groups in a 32-question survey of religious knowledge by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life. On average, Americans got 16 of the 32 questions correct. Atheists and agnostics got an average of 20.9 correct answers. Jews (20.5) and Mormons (20.3). Protestants got 16 correct answers on average, while Catholics got 14.7 questions right.

Take the Quiz

I answered 27 out of 32 correct, pretty good I think. I missed a question or two on hinduism.

I'd certainly love to see the results from some of the know-it-all high horsers round these parts... of any religion or non-religion really.

How will you do on the quiz?

No, and I'm not smarter than a 5th grader either

Ok, I will take the quiz, but I warn ya. I know I don't know as much as I think I know which isn't much to begin with.

Very nice, I click on the link and I get the results page which has me at 0, since I never took it, I will agree.

Unfortunately I saw the answers and not sure if I should take it.

Deleted results at the end of the link.

This page is horrible, I can see some of the answers, but not any of the questions. I am not even going to try

Generally, people that look at the world logically and from a scientific perspective will be Atheist or possibly Agnostic, these are the "smarter" people. This is because religion doesn't make sense logically or scientifically speaking. That's why, in my opinion, Atheists and Agnostic people will come across as more intelligent.

(I'm not suggesting that any religion is wrong)

I consider myself agnostic, but i was raised as a catholic so I guess that makes this a little unfair.

Well, I got 30 out of 32 correct.

I didn't know the one with the "Great First Awakening" or whatever it was called.

Then I stumbled with Nirvava, should've got that one right. lol

25.

I question how they know the break up of denomination.

Seems odd, because I was expecting to be asked at some point.

I'm betting that the test is just a clicking sham to get ad revenue.

Why isn't the title "Are you smarter than a Jew/Mormon/Agnostic?".

Next time, how about you check you link and make sure that it's not the one that shows the answers!

The best part is.... I scrolled down and noticed that was the case and quickly closed it, trying to keep myself from looking at the answers and the questions.

Not to toot my own horn here, but a stellar 28! lol
I'm too embarrassed to even mention the ones I got wrong hahaha

Isn't it sun down on friday to sun rise on saturday? or something to that effect

Oh and one more thing! Since when did Jesus present himself in the Americas! wtf
Man, I used to think Joseph Smith was a genius... or maybe I'm too ignorant to figure out what it means

30 out of 32. I thought Maima..ne..de...yeah him, was a Hindu. And that Billy Graham took part in the great awakening or whatever it's called.
Can't fault me for that one.

I guess my beliefs would be classified as more spiritual than religious.
