So if you read all those books I promise you will be at least 15% cooler than you are right now Also your ability to chat up hot girls that think they are clever will increase dramatically They are in no particular order,just some good books that jumped into my head. If you only read one read the one at the top though- 'Franny and Zooey' by Salinger. It is my favourite book of all time no contest. I know not enough of you have read it. Catcher in the Rye steal's its thunder. All the rest are great books too if you missed them.

If anyone has a list or a book they think I should read,let me know hey. I like anything good.

PostScript- You can get most/all of these free from the net if you have a look I would say. Before Salinger died there were a few sites that had all of his Short Stories that were published in magazines like The New Yorker but after he died they all seemed to get shut down. If anyone knows were I can find them I would be in debt to you forever

But yeah,I want to read 'The Call of Cthulhu'. Sounds pretty cool. I think I will start with that.

Well actually H.P. Lovecraft never actually wrote substance to "The Necronomicon". He used this fictional book as a literary tool. It comes up in a lot of his stories as a pretext for someone performing a ritual, or finding a hidden tomb or something to that effect.

A few authors have written "Necronomicons" from the viewpoint of the "Half-crazed Arab" Alhazred. Which my favorite one (and also the most accurate in terms of the lore) was written by Donald Tyson, called Necronomicon: The Wanderings Of Alhazred

I just thought of something, I think the perfect introduction to H.P. Lovecraft is a short story called The Outsider, I'm sure you can find it in full on the net for free. This is one of my favorite short stories.

I have never read much horror type stuff.

I used to love old Vincent Price movies when I was a kid so I read some Edgar Allan Poe and stuff but I never got right into them really.

But like I said I have been meaning to read some of Lovecraft's stuff. Im glad you gave me a nudge.

The School For Scandal - Richard Brinsley Sheridan

The book about Alexander Hamilton is a MUST read in my opinion. Although not highlighted too much in the book, the crazy relationship between him and Aaron Burr was astounding. With out them even intentionally bashing heads or helping each other, both had a relationship early on through their actions, that even they weren't always aware of.

The Disappearance of the Universe is a pretty darn good book as it relates to Metaphysics, religion and illusion.

The School For Scandal is a linguistically coded play(So I claim) that is one of the most epic stories ever told, and is very well known and acknowledged for being one of the greatest of all time. It can actually be found for free on bartleby.com

If you are a fan of philosophy, then Alexander Hamilton is right up your alley. The greatest tests of ones philosophy, REVOLUTION! I would rant about it, but if you're not familiar with his epic tale, I don't want to spoil it for ya!
