I'm glad to hear it.

In 1982 however you invaded the Falklands with an army of 10,000 soldiers, forced the islanders to drive on the opposite side of the road and insisted on Argentine history being taught in schools.

I wonder if you would be so interested in sitting down and discussing handing the Falklands back to the British if you had won the 1982 war?

The BRICS are just the major developing economies. Apart from that, they have little in common except they rely on the advanced industrial nations for markets

You are naive. Why would they be forming a Bank together?

What they have in common is that America has been no great friend to any of these places. That is what binds them. Theyare a rebel alliance. And it doesnt end there. There are so many other countries that hate America openly and officially and others behind closed doors. Even America's friends dont like them much. Be easy to make them jump ship when the time comes.

America is done.

We will recover the Malvinas, and it will be by peaceful means, it could take 5, 10 or 50 years, but it will happen.

hello my friend ...with the population in Falklands or Malvinas as you like to call it openly saying they would like to remain British, how in your view can you see the islands been given back to Argentina ?

i wouldn't lose any sleep if the islands were given back to Argentina ..

knowing how stubborn the British government is ..i can't see anything changing unless the UN get involved which sanctions ect....with Britain and her NATO buddies can't see that happening .

can't see Russia and china getting involved in a domestic from recent form

peace

I did 2 military tours of The Falkland Islands. Each tour lasting 6 months firstly in 1994 and the second in 1995. As part of an infantary unit our task was foot patrolling the islands literally patrolling from one settlement to another usually reaching a different one every day. Most of the Islanders had either a spare room or a barn in which us soldiers could get some overnight sleep. The 1995 tour was during one of the worst winters in 90 years so those barns were much appreciated. In fact it was so bad our inbound flight was diverted to Montevideo which was fun !!!

I spent a lot of time with islanders and all i can say is that they are BRITISH people. I didnt know what to expect being a young soldier heading to The Falklands but i know when i got there i was suprised at how British the culture is. The people speak better English than most of the people i knew back at home. These people WANT to be British because they are. Theres no cultural conditioning going on by the UK it already is a British culture with British people living like British people do. You cant change that unless you throw them all of the island and start with your new culture. Its a beautiful place, In fact the its the most amazing ive ever visited and ive been some places for sure.

This is not me being typically British but if they want to remain that way then let them. They are very happy people indeed and if anything i would absolutely love the lifestyle those guys have

OH another America is finished beleiver how surprising. It seems everytime someone says that the US tends to prove them wrong. the US is currently in banruptcy terms a restructuring. Its normal for countries to do that at times. If i were you I would wait until you actually feel the white flag smacking you over the head. We said the same about Cuba and they are doing ok still.

That is complete BS, Argentina wouldnt be able to fight even if we wanted to. The person that said that knows nothing of the current situation in Argentina and is only trying to stir up the waters. A war analyst said that if Argentina was to go to war again we would last exactly 2 hours, so I dont think we're in a position to go against a super power again

Well if the British don't wanna sit and talk why not suggest a " best of three " soccer match and the winner gets to keep the Falklands. No need to go to war and no one needs to die...lol. It would be intensed though...more than the World Cup Final with worldwide "live" telecast. Just my take on this.

Malvinas belongs to Argentina. British imperialism has no right to flourish after its sponsorship of islamic terrorism of Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda in Middle East and the genocide of billions in rest of the world.

Yet Argentina was the country which was throwing political prisoners out of aeroplanes during its 'dirty war' immediately before the invasion of the Falklands in 1982.

Islanders were rounded up at gun point and held under armed guard.

The British empire also never killed billions around the world. Both you and I know that. In 1900 the world population was only 1 billion.

If you want to get excited about genocide, look at what the Spanish did to the natives of South America. Of course, you are happy to have a double standard but it does reveal the weakness of your position.

By the way, I agree with you about the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda in the Middle East being Islamic terrorists. One has to wonder what the motivation was for the UK, French and US governments to support jihadists.

• The first reliable sighting is usually attributed to the Dutch explorer Sebald de Weert in 1600.

• In 1690 British Captain John Strong reached the Falkland Islands instead, landing at Bold Cove.

• In 1764 French navigator and military commander Louis Antoine de Bougainville founded the first settlement on Berkeley Sound, in present-day Port Louis, East Falkland.

• British captain John Byron explored and claimed Saunders Island on West Falkland, where he named the harbour Port Egmont and a settlement was constructed in 1766.

• Spain acquired the French colony in 1767 and placed it under a governor subordinate to the Buenos Aires colonial administration.

• In 1770, Spain attacked Port Egmont and expelled the British presence.

• In 1774 economic pressures leading up to the American Revolutionary War forced Great Britain to withdraw from many overseas settlements. Upon withdrawal the British left behind a plaque asserting her continued claim.

• Spain maintained its governor until 1806 who, on his departure, left behind a plaque asserting Spanish claims. The remaining settlers were withdrawn in 1811.

• In 1820 storm damage forced the privateer Heroína to take shelter in the islands. Her captain David Jewett raised the flag of the United Provinces of the River Plate and read a proclamation claiming the islands.

• After several failures, Luis Vernet established a settlement in 1828

The first people to see the Falklands were Dutch (1600).

The first people to land on the Falklands were British (1690).

The first people to build a colony were the French (1764),
then the British (1766)
then the Spanish (1767)
and then the Argentines (1828).

How do the Argies work out that the Falklands are theirs?

Again this claim is nonsense. Its well known that british deliberately gave smallpox blankets to native americans.Used economic policies to starve indians and deliberately exterminated hundreds of millions in India by means of famine and genocide. The mass graves in UP,Madhya Pradesh ,bihar prove the horrifying truths of the biggest mass murder by the british empire.Your own population stats indicate mass murder by British empire. You turned China into opium addicts which led to deaths of tens of millions. You are responsible for deaths of hundreds of millions in Africa via slavery, sponsoring and Mi6 seeks to keep Africa in Civil war. You gassed hundreds of iraqis with poison gas.

Yet Argentina was the country which was throwing political prisoners out of aeroplanes during its 'dirty war' immediately before the invasion of the Falklands in 1982.

and the royal family are/were in cannibalism, freemasonry and supporting the Rothschild monster.

Islanders were rounded up at gun point and held under armed guard.

considering that you stole their land, they had the right to hold you captive.

Yet british were known to kill indians at their whims and fancies and practiced racism to extreme depravity.

What mass graves in UP, Madhya Pradesh ,bihar?

Is it you that pops up on every thread to do with the British and claim that the British Empire killed billions?

Apparently the British killed everyone in the world at least twice over.

By the way, there was no indigenous population on the Falklands when the British arrived, so your point is irrelevant.

Yes. I want BRICS vs Imperial Empire.

I want America and Britain to die.

I want to live in a world where the BRICS control the Reserve Currency and dominate world affairs. It will be in our lifetimes.

Post something worth reading or nothing at all. Youre starting to sound like a troll...

mass graves of the 1857 revolt started by sepoy mangal pandey? Never seen them? 10 million were mass murdered by the british according to british estimates ,while indians estimates are between 30 to 50 million.

on argentina being british:

Your claims are incorrect as the islands were spanish and spain gave independence to Argentina ,it was Argentinian. You stole it.

If USA was free of Rothschild control,we would freed Malvinas on the condition that they share the oil 50-50.

Think every one should calm down a fair bit to be honest. It is another pointless story regarding a former Commanding Officer trying to drum up more cash and less cuts for the MoD.

There will be similar story next month and then one the month after and so on. Before the Falklands, it was there will be another Suez or Korea, before that it was the 2 bashes at the Germans, before that it was Prussian expansionism, etc, etc.

Really really tired of all these Falklands stories now to be honest. Not even worth another thread until something actually happens there, whether that is an actual invasion has occurred or extracting the oil has started. Until then, it is simply more of the same garbage from people in either the UK or Argentina.

Aside from anything else, do you realise how Britain ran the Raj? There was no large scale British Army presence. Yes, the British Army was present but it was predominently made up of Indian (both Sikh and Hindu) Regiments. There may have been a Viceroy but there were over 500 Indian Royal families that ruled varying parts of India.

In other words, Britain developed the infrastructure (using Sapper Regiments) and stole mineral wealth (will admit it, like all invading powers do).
