She meant that Mrs. Romney did not work a day in her life IN THE BUSINESS/OFFICE/WORKING ENVIRONMENT a.k.a. an "official" JOB where she worked for a paycheck at a business.

Actually she has worked outside the home, I read yesterday.

Like i said lack of manners what more proof does anyone need actually thanks for proving it.

That was actually my "impersonation" of you whenever someone calls you out on your comments that you don't want to defend.

You can reply to the rest of my post. Do you think Conservatives who receive government help are Socialists, Communists, Leeches, etc?

Don't be shy now.

This "stay-at-home" issue is a thinly diguised attempt at vilifying people who have worked hard and have been successful.

Oh...so families who have both parents that work DON'T work hard? I am not SUCCESSFUL by your own definition because my wife has to work?

Well, if my wife stayed home and expected 100 grand a year, I wouldn't have a wife. I never made that much in a year so I wouldn't have been able to pay her and she would have left long ago.

she has a point, don't care if you like it or not...

traditionally, the deal was that the men would earn the income, and financially support the family, and the women would take care of the home and kids, and him....
now we have all these husbands failing to do their part, so the women are having to take on part of their responsibility. so, well, it only seems fair that they should also have to pitch in and help out in the women's traditional role!!

this don't happen alot of times, and well, don't care if you like this one or not either...
a man's job is usually 8-10 hours a day, 40 or so hours a week. housewife and mother is a 24/7 job!!! you are on call day and night, and weekends.... many times, mom is sleep deprived.....how often is dad???

I totally believe that a stay at home Mother,or Father is going to help their children out, more then someone who is working, half the day. Take money out of the equation. Having Parents work, isn't a necessarily, bad thing. Having parents there for children,is a price most Americans would love to achieve. I am a single Father. I would love to be there for my children, even MORE then I am now. Its called sacrifice. If Romney's wife can do it,without having to work a real job, kudos. Who can judge anyone, who wants to be there for their kids ? I just don't get the mentality of some people.

Peace.

Don't yell at me, but I stayed home to be with my kids, because I thought it was important, never thought about being paid, however I think society would be better off if at least one parent was home with their children.

Twist anymore and you'll have to change your user name to pretzel.
I'm not going to define success by YOUR standards.

I'll let people make their own definitions as to what is successful or not.

The Obama administration defines success as "having enough money not to rely on government for anything."

Which is an anathema to progressives.

I agree with you completely. In the past the woman was chosen to do the most important job of all and it got all messed up somehow.

Just a postscript. . . .

Sarah Palin gets blasted because she worked and didn't stay at home with her kids.

Mrs. Romney gets blasted because she stayed at home with her kids.

Doesn't mental acrobatics like that cause seizures or something?

THIS is exactly why we made the decision and sacrificed my pay at my job. The exact reason for the decision. If others CANT.. they cant and absolutely shoudlnt be called bad parents or uncaring for their children. If a family is capable of making the sacrifices of the second income.. then by all means. It was just OUR belief and conviction. Others can make their own decisions and should be able to without being looked down upon.. nor should the stay at home mother.

Another site posed the question, (I added the link).

But I'm wondering how they can justify this.

Talk about mental gymnastics!

LOL...don't give me that bull. You post 24/7 here about how evil liberals are.....talk about hilarity!

There are plenty of conservatives who use Medicare and Social Security.

Go ahead and make it a national platform.

Let's see who wins Neo.

Go to the unemployment line and tell those lazy so called liberals what you think of them. Yell at the single moms on wic programs at the grocery store.

Be righteous!!!!

Please tell me you don't really believe this.

Show me where Ann Romney has been "blasted" for staying at home with her kids? Stating she has never been in the workforce is a fact...no one, besides conservatives, is saying she is wrong for staying at home.

All of you are so transparent...you know this isn't an issue...but you have nothing else to go on. Romney is a stiff suit...his policies suck...none of you want to discuss "issues"...you want to discuss things that were never said.

You guys think women are stupid...and that is the exact reason why Romney will lose the women vote.
