A tsunami warning was issued for the entire Indian Ocean region after a quake with a preliminary magnitude of 8.9 hit waters off westernmost Aceh province in Indonesia.

Oh boy oh boy. Lets hope it will not be like the previous tsunamis like the one in 2004 which killed more than 240,000 people.
Lets see how this news develops.
I also hope that the warning systems they wanted to build are fully operational and the people get to a safe place in time.

The US Geological Survey said on Wednesday the quake was centred 33km beneath the ocean floor around 495km from the provincial capital of Banda Aceh

Yeah, it was posted the minute after I posted this one.
Lets hope they can withdraw the tsunami warning and nothing serious happens.
