TERRORISM: Four held by anti-terror police

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of acts of terrorism. The Three men were held after Metropolitan Police and anti-terrorist branch raided a hotel in Brent Cross London. The fourth man was later arrested at his home in the north London.

She said although searches of houses and premises were still going on, police had not found any radioactive material or a "bomb in the making".

And she added: " They don't believe they have arrested highly significant people, on the other hand they have possibly stopped something in the making."

Police have 14 days to question the suspects, who are being questioned at Paddington Green police station, after which they must be charged or released.

Its says further down at the bottom that they haven�t found any radioactive material or a bomb in the making equipment yet but if Mi-5 were also involved there must be something going on other wise why have Mi-5 involved in this?

Sunday Times: Dirty bomb talk as terror cops act

"POLICE arrested four men in London under Britain's anti-terrorist law, as a newspaper claimed it had infiltrated a gang trying to buy radioactive material for a "dirty bomb".
The Saudi, whose name was not disclosed, was reportedly willing to pay �300,000 (756,000) in cash for a kilogram of "highly powerful radioactive material" from Russia known as Red Mercury.

The News of the World said the material was developed by Soviet scientists during the Cold War "for making briefcase nuclear bombs" that could kill everyone within a few city blocks."
