Something seems wrong here, what do you think?

i was reading the fall 2012 College of William and Mary alumni magazine and found under the vital stats section the passing of Carolyn M. Brown class of '09 on 09apr12 in MA. , i did not know her personally but upon doing some researching i found the circumstances of her death, which is suicide (so they say) and listed above the posting in the alumni magazine, there was the notice of death of Katherine Mitchell class of '04 on 08apr12 in VA. the day before the death of carolyn. interesting fact was that katherine worked for the "center for strategic and international studies" in DC. (which is a foreign policy think tank).

not sure if related in nature, but find it odd on the circumstances.
