Pentagon Trained Terrorists In Nevada to Use Against Iran
April 8, 2012
Print Version
By Sherwood Ross
BlacklistedNews.com

The Pentagon trained members of the dissident Iranian terrorist group M.E.K. in Nevada starting in 2005, after which they returned to Iran and may have engaged in covert activities, investigative reporter Seymour Hersh reports in the April 6th issue of “The New Yorker” magazine.

The group receiving the training incredibly had been listed in 1997 as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department, and remains on that list today, Hersh said. Hersh’s article, “Our Men in Iran?” says the training was conducted by the Joint Special Operations Command(JSOC)---a charge JSOC denies. “U.S. Special Operations Forces were neither aware of nor involved in the training of M.E.K. members,” a JSOC spokesperson said.

This is the part that gets me.

The Nevada training operation, on a site 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, was shut down sometime before President Obama took office in 2009, the article said.

That would be where we have all our nuclear waste at. Its the transport hub for Yucca Mountain storage. So are they saying the M.E.K. that has its headquarters located in France was trained at our nuclear waste dump to attack Iran? Are they creating a story for a dirty bomb? The propaganda is good because you have to look a little deeper to see there plot. But if you start to look to deep it all falls apart. But the question still remains is this a plot about a potential dirty bomb?

I'd like to put a twist on this topic.

Syria has made strong customer / partner for both Russia and China in the past. It didn't surprise me to see both countries object to any action being taken against Syria. We know that recently both China and Russa have officially directed comments to Syria about their current actions.

TWIST: what is Russia isn't staging troops to support Syria but instead the're staging troops to force Syria into peaceful actions. Tactically I would think it would be a Media Bombshell that would make give Russia a huge influx of popular support from many people around the world. I think that an action like this would be like a thumb in the eye of NATO.

Russia would gain respect from it's own people
Increase in morale of it's military
Allow it to flex it's new muscle by taking a direct action in what could be considered a humanitarian situation
Let NATO and other Western Countries know that it isn't afraid to fully support a cause it believes in without asking for permission.

I know it's off the wall but to me it would be a strategic move for them right now. Who is going to object to a action that should of happened a week ago.

If you want to add a double twist... China and Russia do a joint humanitarian action against Syria. Now who's going to object and if they did object would it be because they weren't invited?

Who has air dominance? Can a tank division move covertly through small mountain roads? What orbital assets does the American military have that can shoot?
Answer these questions and maybe you might know what the hell you're talking about.

I just think people are reading way to much into Russia. Georgia is in the process of becoming a NATO member so if Russia is going to do their thing then they need to do it sooner rather than later.

As far as attacking the power plants I dont see that happening. I see them going after the enrichment sites since that is where the issue is.

As far as relations between NATO and Russia - Russia is allowing NATO to use a base on their territory near Afghanistan as a transit hub to support operations in Afghanistan as well as facilitate a withdraw. An action that that would run contrary to an outbreak of a war.

With the Russian foreign minister stating Iran's expansion of their nuclear program is in violation of agreements with the UN / NPT / IAEA, I doubt Russia is going to go to war to defend Iran.

Flow of Iranian oil to Asia slows as sanctions bite

TOKYO/HONG KONG (Reuters) - Japanese trading houses will cut Iranian crude imports from April, industry sources said on Tuesday, in the latest sign that Western sanctions are curbing the flow of Tehran's oil to its biggest customers in Asia.

Insurers are showing growing reluctance to cover tankers carrying Iranian oil and a senior official at a unit of Chinese refiner Sinopec Corp said it was increasingly wary of crude from Iran due to the supply threat posed by sanctions.

The United States and European Union have tightened sanctions on Iran's oil trade as they seek to reduce the flow of petrodollars and force Tehran to halt a nuclear program the West suspects is intended to produce weapons.

"Iranian crude currently is a rather sensitive subject," Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemicals Chief Financial Officer Ye Guohua told reporters at an earnings briefing. "This year we will continue to be cautious about Iranian crude imports."

China, India, Japan and South Korea are the four biggest buyers of Iranian crude in Asia, and all of them have cut imports. The sanctions are making it hard for refiners who want to continue importing to find shippers, insurers to underwrite trade and banks to clear payments.

So much for unconditional Chinese support for Iran.

in a conventional fight we will do as we please. The world learned that in Desert Storm after 1 carpet bomb run.In this case we will have a consolidated strike ala Osirak and aid to insurgents in Iran.Israel is already working as we speak on that. They have already hit key players,You can bet all sites are catalogued and targeted.
That being said. The JCS is holding this socialist POTUS at bay until they have no choice.

Personally, I'm thinking Russia is the real wild card. Your right about the base on Russian Fed. territory tying in for the Northern supply lines into Afghanistan. Russia has no love loss whatever for that country and I think it's as much a joy in helping us hurt them as it is anything else. Putin also threatened those supply lines as I recall. Remember back when the Pakistani's shut down the pass over their border post being shot up? Putin had made rumbling then that represent a bell he can't unring in my mind.

The thing is, you are right and that IS the problem about Russia moving now or never. Iran is in the same boat as far the Jihadi's around the region. For several different groups right now, America is weaker than it's really ever been for international relations on principles. We'll probably never be this weak again. So, it IS now or never on some things and some of these players may be the NOW type, is my concern.

China is no wild card in my mind. They have no interest and nothing to gain in starting anything. That being said, if something starts on a large scale anyhow, they won't let the opportunities slide by, either. A United States heavily engaged in a fight we aren't automatically winning in the Middle East and Central Asia can't very well cover Taiwan, for instance. China, in my opinion, will just sit off to the side and be the dangerous opportunist, waiting for others to act or not.

No, NATO is an organisation borne out of the North Atlantic Treaty in 1949.

If the USA enters Iran and Russia attack then the rest of NATO will be forced to intervene. We are all allies after all.

My point is, we don't even talk about the US going to war anymore. We go to war under the guise of Nato.. Smoke screens.

There's a reason "Nato" sounds like some kind of band of heroes..

I don't suppose you were aware of a war in Iraq that recently ended? I believe NATO and the rest of the population in America and abroad were against any action. The only reason we went there was there was a large group of people easily swayed by propaganda who got behind the movement and supported the warmongers who only wanted to profit from war. These same people held banners and spit on people who disagreed with them calling those who opposed the war un-American or commie lovers. They were a classic mob mentality only looking for an outlet for their anger and never asking for truth.

I don't support NATO any more than I support the American warmongers or Russian warmongers who are always in war for profit. They think war is the new Google and they can't lose because none of them have been held accountable EVER!

Before anyone chants "Death to (Insert name here)" I believe they should be employed by the government they support and spend time on the ground at the place they are to invade and witness for themselves what is going on there. A lot less people would be so quick to jump on a war bandwagon if they were better informed about the people they want to kill. As a side note, you can be against abortion and contraception and preach till your hearts content about how honorable and pious you are because you love the Baby Jesus and then prove just how ignorant you are by ignoring horrifying images of babies torn in half from bombs YOU fired.

There is no retribution for the innocents who have died because people are inherently lazy and don't want to do the work to find out if they are being lied to. These people blindly follow and never question those they "Trust". That is why they are the most manipulated populace in history. Every politician is aware of their stupidity and shallow mental capacity as well as their ingrained prejudices and they use them to their advantage when it suits them. An interesting side-note is that these people never admit that they were wrong or manipulated because of their pride. If this statement offends you, you might be one of them.

China IS very much a wildcard even though I doubt they would be directly involved. They have the manufacturing base for the rest of the world. They would profit immensely from war especially if they were not drawn into it directly. This will be about money and there is a lack of that in most European nations as well as the Middle east. It would not be difficult to get people on board with a little promising of contracts etc.

War is the biggest FOR PROFIT charity going. Our government is the leader in this game and the rest of the world is getting tired of living off the scraps and cleaning up the mess. I can envision a new ideology that places USA in last place among warring nations who are tired of the current scheme where they always lose. If enough feather are ruffled those birds will get together in secret and change the status quo leaving the current war machine in shambles and the ground forces unsupported.

This is a dangerous game we have been playing and those people responsible for the atrocities we have witnessed must be brought to justice or the entire system will implode. The untouchables will retire to their underground lairs and control what they can from their bunkers while the normal folk suffer endlessly. Truth comes to those who seek it. Follow the money if you want the truth.

Well on the first area, China is certainly all that for economic. In saying they are not a wild card, I am thinking we have no reason to fear China pulling a first strike military action on much of anyone....let alone United States forces. I also don't see them playing behind the scenes at this point to make war happen. It's too close already and why should they bother? All things come to those who wait and China is the Chess player of the world while the U.S. plays a mean game of checkers. lol

On the second point about an ideology that leaves America dead last. Well... I believe the world is going to get what it wants. At last for a short time, they will get what they would like on this. God Help everyone but the current U.S. President sees our system as a problem not something to improve. The world sees us as the problem, not someone to work with. I say fine...

The world can return to the days before 1945 when it just kinda drifted from one multi-national war into the other and Europe never really knew more than 20 years to a stretch...over a few thousand years time....where people weren't in combat somewhere on the continent over something. Enjoy that world with *NO* leadership of any kind. Rule of the Gun should be interesting..when the ones with the guns are tyrannical Governments which make ours look like Mr Rogers.

I view China as having a public policy and then they have a non public policy. For lack of a better phrase the Chinese remind me of the Romulans. Always looking out for their own interests while tugging at strings behind the scenes to obtain their goals through the duping of other entities.

I see your point. The fact is (right or wrong) most of the West want to preserve their way of life. We have similar ideals and will all fight for them if needed.

NATO world police to the rescue
.

Get the hell outta here... This has nothing to do with "preserving your way of life" while the US is becoming a POLICE STATE.

If "preserving your way of life" is what NDAA is for, and the patriot act then your way of life sucks.

Nato is nothing but a money hungry crime syndicate. Quote me.

Actually, the American way of life (enormous economic prosperity) can only exist if the strength of the American empire remains intact.

So in that way he's right.

I guess you never heard of the second marshall plan. Do you know what it is? It also goes by the name of global marshall plan. Well there has been many complaints that all though it is good for the under developed nations the bad side is every developed nation will suffer from the redistribution of wealth takes place. But the redistribution of wealth is not the one on tv the rich will get richer redistributing your wealth to a poor country. It will lead to the true elite globalist who steals your money and gives it away in another country as they take there share for doing so. And this plan enacted by Bush is not the same as Al Gores plan. It took part of his plan but turned it into something very scary. And its what you have already seen in the supposed nation building that has been going on all over the Middle East and is now spread to South America and Africa.

I'm not sure your point relates to mine at all.

I'm merely saying that the continued expansion and strengthening of the American corporate empire is the only way Americans will be able to continue to enjoy the post WW2 world domination that has brought them such historic high quality of life.

You missed WW3 that was followed by the second marshall plan. Remember the first marshal plan enacted after WW2. They refuse to call the war on terror WW3 but they enacted a second marshall plan of nation building because of it. What does that say?

And it looks so harmless.
www.globalmarshallplan.org...

Global marshall plan which was created by the Club of Rome is ran through the UN, IMF and World Bank. And when the US gives money to any other nation it is given through USAID and placed in the IMF or World BAnk to give out the money. Thats why Dominque Strauss-Kahn was setup to get him out of the postion as President of the IMF. then you have Robert Zoellick president of the World Bank he worked in the Bush White House he also worked for Goldman Sachs he also was Vice President of Fannie Mae. Seems this guys been invovled in everything that led to the world economic crash.
