You hit the nail on the head about laziness and education. And lets add common sense to that equation. There has to be an analysis of symptoms vs benefits. If the medication makes you feel worse or you just don't feel good verses how you function without the medication, its important to decide whether one stays on the medication or takes themselves off or asks the doctor for a change to a different class of meds, or find their own solutions. People have to take responsibility for themselves. There are no magic bullets in psych medications, they only treat the symptoms.
