Has anyone in ATS been to an ashram in India?

Hello ATS. I have been looking for an ashram for a while now, but Im not getting any more wiser. There are so many ashrams out there.

Are there other people who go to ashrams by themselves? (Im going alone.)

How do I find the ashram that fits me? I am a newbeginner at meditation and yoga, so I wanted to go to India to learn. (I know little about meditation and yoga.)

I was thinking about going in the end of may, and maybe be there for a few monhts.

Is there anyone who can help me out a little bit? Someone who knows about ashrams in India.
