That is true. They had brown bess muskets, field cannons, howitzers and mortars. All of which were far superior and much more advanced than anything the colonists could field.

We will not take the country "Back" it will be lost to even worse despot after a couple of false flag suitcase nukes are blamed on radicals or homegrown terrorists. The Rich will then have complete control....please please I am begging to anyone who thinks of revolution to not be stupid and learn your history!

Only way there will be a second revoltion is if there are new Americans. The current crop of Americans are simply to apathetic to care. If they can't get up off their butts to vote, they won't do so to lift a gun.

The people are just too damn soft these days - most have never even seen a fight let alone been in one , and if they are not happy with there lot in life - well the internet is always there to pander to every fantasy .

Folks have been trained to be scared - of terrorists, different races , helll even of their own neighbours , no one knows how to stand up any more - so dependent on the nanny state to take of everything " I'd like overthrow the corrupt government but then who's gonna gimme my foodstamps "

The last big chance to overthrow the whole stinking lot of them was the counter culture revolution of the mid 1960's - but that was swiftly co-opted by TPTB and the networks - swallowed up and sanitised for mainstream consumption.

society as a whole is done for - just concentrate on waking up those around you and make a difference in thier lives , that way the revolution wont have to compete with ' dancing with the stars ' .

It's not just America, my friend.

The entire human race needs a revolution. It's that simple...and yet, so utterly, revoltingly difficult.

Haven't you realized by now that if there's one thing we continually learn from history, it's how to make mistakes without paying for them?

We will always seek the easiest path...even if it means nuclear Armageddon. Why? Because we will always place our lives, desires, and well-being above everyone else's.

The founding fathers had a computer game mentality?

Because war is always the best solution, right?

Taking lives is always worth prosperity. Having a conscience is for babies.

The government in itself is not the problem. It is the corruption within the government. What needs to be done if the citizens want to revolt is to go after the mega-corps and their owners and boards. Confront these individuals and corporations head on and then we can rectify the problems. We, as citizens basically need to find these people and chase them out of town.

Occupy their homes, occupy their businesses, stop doing business with them. Hell, for certain businesses, take it over. I am sure that if enough people gathered and agreed on a target that amongst the group they could initially take a business over and the people pick up and continue on.

Imagine a large group of people, for example, walk into Bank of America and announce in the lobby, "hello everyone, we are your new owners" and proceed to escorting the people out of the bank and continue on with business as usual.

Make it a hostile takeover like no one has ever seen before. Corporations do this to the little guy every day, what goes around comes around.

I impose I can war with who I wish to challenge other districts for power, I impose that I get what I want and hand out what everybody else gets.

I impose the Laws of King Henry the 8th, his son Edward and Bloody Mary.

Ron Paul equals anarchy he has shown his colors, the world has shown its inability to live peacefully

You're an idiot.

The Union lived with true freedom all the way up until the civil war. You cannot have anarchy when the law was created to protect both property and rights. We are so brainwashed none of us would know what to do if we magically stepped back in time to 1844. Back when people held allodial titles for the land they lived on (which means they held the land in fee simple absolute, which means that no government can tax you for living on that property, which means that there were no "property taxes").

You're entire attitude reeks of indoctrination. "hurr, if we free we be in a anarchy, i need mah chains."

You are taxed to death.
You own no property ( a deed isn't an allodial title).
You are ruled by the whims of the majority (our forefathers despised democracy, don't believe me? Read Article 4 Section 4 of the federal constitution very, very slowly).
Our concept of rights and privileges has been perverted.
You have to have a license to exercise what used to be (and still is really), basic human rights.
If something is a right you do not have to ask for permission to exercise that right. If you have to ask for permission it is not a right, it is a privilege. A license is the State granting you permission to do some activity.
You do not need a license to protest.
You do not need a license to carry a gun.
You do not need a license to engage in commerce.
You do not need a license to operate your property.
You do not need a license to be considered married.

Take driving a car for example. If you own the car (you know, its your property) you do not need permission to drive it. But you have a license. Which negates property rights. Which means you do not own your car, someone else does (the state, sounds like communism), they are just giving you the permission to use it.

But of course, you will defend your own slavery. Mostly because of fear, people want to feel safe, and they need the government to be responsible for them and keep them secure.

Which is something else our forefathers hated.

Really, Ron Paul just wants to abolish this de facto system that has taken over, to bring the Union back to its roots in a de jure, republican (Article 4 Section 4) form of government.

But the majority of us are terrified of the idea of freedom. We need someone to hold our hands. We cannot have personal responsibility, its too much work.

The anarchy fallacy is really old. Just because you are no longer a slave does not mean we have been hurled into chaos. The Union worked just fine for years within your "anarchy" fallacy.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian. Its Idealistic Government.

No. Its government the way our Union was ran before the civil war. Detractors against the revolutionary war said the same thing about an American republic being "idealistic."

Honestly, the Federalist Papers are easy to get a copy of.

Revolutionary talk is EXACTLY what TPTB want. If there is a revolution that is the exact moment the constitution will be dissolved completely never to be the rule of law again. I think that revolution is exactly what TPTB are gaming for. The final overthrow of America. Economic crisis, Wars, Race Wars, Class Wars, civil unrest, and calls for revolution. When the demand for the "system" to change reaches its feverish pitch TPTB will give us their solution. The solution they have wanted all along. The very reason these problems arose in the first place.

Problem - Re-action - Solution

"I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
And I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again"

"Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss"

those "Arab springs" sure are working for them huh? Wonder who orchestrated all that ...

I've been saying this for months now. Our country was founded on the very concept of revolution against tyranny. It's more than evident our rights as citizens are being taken; 9/11 was the turning point where we lost our freedom, people are already getting used to government "protection". Maybe it was lack of foresight, maybe it's a structured event for the NWO, but this country does need change. People do need to wake up. Under a system where our own money is cycled through banks back to the people as debt, we can't continue, unless we remain the mindless slaves I see the people becoming. As someone who actually wants to see progress, a revolution is a necessity, actually past necessity (bailouts=WTF), but I pray it can be done without tragedy.

Even tptb cannot control every aspect of obtaining their ultimate goal. From time to time they have to adapt to the current conditions and then regroup and continue forward. I do not disagree that tptb want a revolution to further their agenda. Ok, fine, give them a revolution, just give them a revolution that they are not expecting. They expect us to rebel against the government, but instead we rebel against the perpetrators themselves directly, right on their front door step. You know, go to the source.

wow, this speak gets you far when talking about freedom?

You do not need a license to protest.

correct. you dont need a license to move to another country to make it a Ron Paul Kingdom either

You do not need a license to carry a gun.

opinions vary so do laws state to state

You do not need a license to engage in commerce.

tell that to Commerce and see how far you get

You do not need a license to operate your property

as long as its on your property and in accordance city, county, state, EPA and DEQ laws

You do not need a license to be considered married.

Take that up with a divorce lawyer and the widow and widower trying to collect pension and Soc. Sec. death benefits

Take driving a car for example.

License and Registration please and in some states there is property tax paid on it and penalties for late registration.
Freedom to travel? you bet, walk and peddle where you like as long as its according to city county and federal ordnance.
Be my guest and drive an unlicensed car without a drivers license and registration and insurance ,,,oh we covered that.

and I am ignorant ...
look in the mirror
ETA:

at what price will you bring your revolution?
I have some of these tools,
my question is what do you say to your creator after you wage this war of destruction
and what Constitution do you impost on those that do not agree?
see, these questions need to be answered before any conversation of revolution be asked. Or you are just having it YOUR way

You are not the only one. However, which kind of revolution are you talking about? A wet revolution? That would be a last resort situation, but it would be necessary if all other methods are exhausted.

I personally like the method of going out and exposing corruption with hidden cameras, putting together evidence that is irrefutable, and holding politicians' feet to the fire. Kinda like the guy being offered Eric Holder's ballot. Hopefully it will awaken enough people to make a difference. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone cares, as long as WalMart has cheese doodles and Judge Judy is on the teevee.

Around 700k people died during the "civil" war. How many do you think would die in a current national war? You really think it's time for that?

I would say it's time to try everything and anything we can EXCEPT a war on our own soil. Tell me OP.. with your grandiose plans of mass killing, what have YOU actively done to change how things are run in this country? I suppose you perhaps went to a rally or two? And consider it a lost cause?

People talk a lot about how things are so wrong, but they do little to fix it, and instead would just rather have a massive war, killing friends and family. I don't get it.

As a 20 year retiree of the Armed Forces let me assure you, no revolution turns out the way it was intended. For instance, Castro held a severe hatred for the Cuban Communist Party instead he wanted a Cuban Revolution for Cuba however, once he attained his goal of overthrowing the Batista Government he readily sided with the Communists simply because he could not govern without them. Modern Cuba is not what the revolutionaries originally intended. The American Revolution as well did not result in the nation the founding fathers intended, upon the completion of hostilities with England in fighting began almost immediately as individuals positioned themselves for positions of economic and political power. In reality, the founding fathers turned away from Lords, Barons, Dukes and Kings only to be replaced by CEO's, Bankers, Land Owners etc. They only have different names but the power they hold is hereditary.

History has shown that Revolution is a wasteful and costly endeavor, it changes things for the short period but, with time Human Greed gains a new foothold and drives those in power to become even more tenacious. Don't believe me, look at the Constitution a wonderful document but, the powerful have lawyers and they have succeeded in re-defining the Constitution to serve themselves.

Aside from Revolution there is only one solution, a military coup but trust me that will never happen the General and Flag Officers of our military are well kept by those in power. They are not about to give up the potential executive positions waiting for them after retirement even if it means ignoring thier oath which specifically states to "Protect the Constitution from enemies foriegn and DOMESTIC". Yes that means the U. S. Elected Officials are enemies of the Constitution yet, they don't fear the people because the people continue to re-elect them blindly and they hold the military ranks at bay with the Uniform Military Code of Justice which is more far reaching than the civilian law.

An armed revolution in the U.S. would prove disasterous for many reasons; you can be assured should the so called rebels gain ground do you really think our trade partners like China or Europe would allow thier number one customer of import goods put them out of business? I promise you, the U.S, Government will have allies from all over the world standing against a revolution.

Accept things as they are, live your life the best you can and maybe you might find some happiness but participating in an armed revolution would only get you and all those you care about killed.
