Got to mention the original Planet of the Apes with Charlton Heston. As he turns that corner on the beach and sees the top half of the Statue of Liberty jutting out of the sand and realises he was home all the time.

It was ranked number 1 followed by shawshank redemption - followed by usual suspects..
especially being made in the 60s it would of blown many a mind back then...
And takes the top - spot for that very reason ...

'Im home"...all the time that i.....'you maniacs"..'arrrr you blew it up!!!..damn them.. damn you

If you haven't seen it, you really should track it down and give it a view.

The movie is amazing and the ending is, well shocking.

I can imagine the stir it caused at the time.

I wrote a review of "Altered" a few years back.
I have never known anyone outside the people who read that and people in RL who I told about it to know of this movie. It's a pretty cool ending.

Some of my fav's:
Se7en.
Fight Club.
Most recently, Cabin in the Woods.
The Matrix, 1st film.
Saw.
Saw 2.

I like all of those also. I just watched The Cabin In The Woods a few days ago. I thought it was a really cool plot! I'm glad they didn't give much away with the trailers- it was a pleasant surprise!

I am a horror and sci-fi movie junkie! I read a lot of horror also. My father got me addicted at a young age. I was probably the only first grader who was at the drive-in for the first local showing of The Exorcist!

The ending to 'Dragon, The Bruce Lee Story' the movie was great, but the ending was sad....I guess it was the music....

I like movies with a message,
and endings that bring a tear to a grown mans eye.
This scene is like what I have experienced once before between myself and a porcupine when I was a child.
I never harmed another animal ever again.

I had to stop my friend from killing it.

Good film kat!, 'very emotional, played well by jason
scott - lee when setting about conquering his demons:

"We call these demons fear and angel of hatred if at first we don't conquer these demons
a lifetime of a thousand years can be a tradgedy if we do a lifetime of a single day can be a triumph"
