Very cool thread, S+F OP.

The additions of the Texas Aquifer and the Fjord in Norway being affected by the Japan quake were also new to me.

I consider myself a conservationist, and I truly do care about the planet. But isn't this a lot of resources for 200 minnows?

I get that they are left over from the ice age, but doesn't that make them an invasive species? Saving these 200 minnows would serve no real purpose, they ended up there by accident and have adapted to the environment.
