I used to think ideas like this were racist, until i moved to a country that spoke a different language than i did.
I found natives to be unhelpful and unfriendly.
I of course said they were racist, but i had to learn the "lingo" for my kids sake. It was the best thing i could have done. Rather than doing what most english speakers do, ie speaking english LOUDLY and Slowly as if that would make a difference. I learned a few phrases in spanish. Straight away the locals became more friendly and helpful even though i sounded ridiculous, i got work and local food producers often brought me free fruit and veg, simply by making the effort;
So i think the rule should be learn the local language whatever it is, its a common courtesy and you cant really blame people for getting exasperated by dumbasses who dont know what you are trying to say!

Dropping a bunch of beautiful stuff.

Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tralala Band - Blind Blind Blind
One of my favorite songs EVER

Wingnut Dishwashers Union - Proudhon in Manhattan
had a though time deciding in between this one and Jesus does the dishes

Refused - Rather be Dead
It was either this one or The Deadly Rhythm (of the production line), chose the one with the epic "rather be alive" part

Dead Kennedys - Kill the Poor
though I am the Owl might have been more relevant to ATSer's interests.

Godspeed You Black Emperor - The Dead Flag Blues

Mogwai - Punk Rock
