Not a bear too small,..(note horse dung nearby ,... never heard of a hairless racoon before.

I say wolverine with a bad case of mange....it happens a lot in the wild, mange is terrible.

Many supposed Chupacabra photos have been dead animals with mange....

Its a hairless raccoon. Google the term, there are a lot of very similar images that have been positively identified as raccoons.

In Canada we have an animal called a fisher it's related to a marten but bigger , I believe they are in the states too ?

I don't think it would a raccoon because they like the possum have fingers. The front feet look like pads.

Yes, according to this: Link (with picture), it is indeed a hairless raccoon.

It does indeed appear very similar.

That is NOT a possum. I've seen 'em, I live in the country and dear God they are ugly little buggers, but that's no opossum.

I was hesitant at first, but now I agree with the hairless raccoon idea. I googled some images of raccoon teeth, and from that I determined that the teeth and the ears match up pretty well. After that I looked at picutres of raccoon hands and despite my previous thoughts that the paws didn't look enough like hands my comparison leads me to believe that I was initially wrong.

So yeah, I think it is a poor hairless raccoon

It is definitely NOT a opossum!

Raccoon with mange...All it is.

I respectfully disagree with raccoon idea....the paws are not even close.
