I don't think POS is saying Sophia is more Supreme than the male aspect. Just that the male aspect is not supreme to the female.

Sophia is from Sophos; Greek for wise or wisdom.

In Hellenistic philosophy and also in both Gnostic and Orthodox Christianity, Sophia is a term that means wisdom or the embodiment of wisdom.
