Many years ago, I had this nearly every night. After waking up in the early hours and then attempting to go back to sleep, I would hear this intense, deafening buzzing as I fell asleep, which would cause me to wake up. This could happen over 10 times in one night. This happened most nights and was unpleasant to say the least, especially as it usually was accompanied by very vivid, emotionally linked nightmares. Fun.

I also had a problem of consciously waking up, but my body was paralyzed. This was not fun either, however as soon as I learnt to control my fear, and be relaxed I could wake up my body with but a thought. The control felt liberating.

Due to at times not being able to sleep for days, chronic insomnia, I have been on medication ever since. Even though I dream, it is like watching a movie, with no emotional attachment. I have not experienced any of the above issues since. Those problems plagued me for years.

I've had problems and complaints like this with my doctor and he just treats me like a hypochondriac who looks for things on the internet for attention. So, I had to loook on the internet for remedies. Headaches, ringing in the ears etc. can be found on the internet on medical help sites etc.
Just to give you an idea, here's one site that helped me with a similar problem

www.salicylatesensitivity.com...

Foods and additives can eventually casue problems when you don't eat right or drink right either. I drink distilled water, not because I should, but because I didn't trust the water where I live.

You probably have other symptoms. You may even have a fungal infection or similar. Try an elimination diet as well.

Look into detox remedies at health food stores. Acid reflux or heartburn can be another symptom. I've been eating plain non fat yogurt just about every day and I used to be lactose intolerant. Being "regular" and not constipated makes a big difference.
