As an admitted cat lover, this made my day a bit brighter.

Marshmallow the kitten was born on March 1, and was not expected to make it. Weighing only about 60 percent of the average weight of a newborn kitten, “Marshy” has spent the first few weeks of her life on heating pads, heated “rice socks” and never far from her mother, Mochi.

Now, at four weeks and seven times her original weight, her eyes are open and her burgeoning curiosity has her refusing to stay in the box with boring ol’ mom. There’s a whole world out there to explore, starting with one particularly gargantuan-looking fleece-lined Croc.
