Wow, now this is hypocrisy on a governmental scale involving the U.S. government and it's military. The U.S. government okays the burning of bibles and treats them like garbage, yet they must wear padded gloves and handle a Quran with both hands in a sign of respect to the "holy" Quran??? We don't need to guess which way the U.S. government is going to embrace in the near present future. Expect the rise of an Islamic U.S. in the near future. We all will have to walk on eggshells for fear of offending muslim to the point they lose control of themselves and go on a killing spree
.

Remember Dearborn in Michigan? It's coming to an american town near you. You can expect to see more of this kind of thing in the years to come. This is what hypocrisy looks like when it's working for your taxpayer dollars.

If the US was currently occupying a Christian country, you would see politicians pandering to that demographic too. But it's not. Instead, it's occupying Muslim countries, and they are trying to mediate damage and recruiting power of the enemy.

They like to create their own enemies, they don't need rogue ones popping up.

I caught that. But there's no humor in it because people actually believe that stuff. And it fuels some pretty stupid hate...

This is ridiculous. Both books promote racism and violence and worship the same god. They are also paper and should not be idolized, by their own beliefs. It's pretty sad actually.

As a world we are full of violent religions with non-inclusive rules. And we wonder why there can't be peace in the world. Bring on the new one world religion. /sarcasm

Good find.

This has nothing to do with hate, this is something that is going to concern every american citizen before long, because to Islam, if you're not muslim you are the enemy and thats from the Quran. So secular folks guess what? You're an infidel too, no fence sitting for you.

This is because no body is willing to blow themselves up if a bible is burnt.

Actually, the Bible in its entirety promotes the love and acceptance of Jew and Gentile - aka all peoples - while the Koran clearly demonizes non-Muslims.

Of course there will always be radicals on both sides.

Seems like TPTB are pushing people like Santorum and other Christian right wingers against separation of church and state in order to keep making Islam look like the scapegoat. Doesn't matter if he gets elected so long as it helps the collective effort to divide and conquer. Meanwhile Sharia is taking over Big Brother Britain...

Good video, lonewolf. Very well-spoken and witty.

You prove the OP's point. A Christian who turns to violence defies the very book he represents. For a Muslim it is jihad.

Easy on the rhetoric Cardinal Lonewolf....

Bombs aren't being dropped on Christians, they are being dropped on Muslims. No one gave a damn about them or the Quran until the US invaded 3 countries (Overtly) and a couple more (covertly) that are predominately Muslim.

This is just politics.

BTW, you were replying to a set of quotes that were talking about Obama being Islamic, he's not a Muslim, he's a Christian...

For a "Christian" Obama is the most Biblically-hostile president to date.

Also... Freudian slip?

Yep, there's a whole bunch of contradicting and confusing stuff when it comes to Obama's religion. Confusion makes deception easier. IMO if someone really did follow the Christ, they'd be hard-pressed to forget it.

Braces yourselves, the crusaders are returning!

In all seriousness Obama is not Muslim, and even if he was, why is that relevant? I swear no one would even be thinking about this crap if his complexion was vanilla rather than cafe con leche. Sheesh.

Anyway, I do think it is rather funny that they will allow the burning of the bible but not of the Quran. Maybe they are thinking about " national security' After all all terrorist are muslims right?

Had nothing to do with all the people calling him Muslim at the time? It was a major issue. Technically he was "Muslim" to people, so it was something to reference.

It's like someone accusing you of being a homosexual, and you talk about your "homosexuality", as it being in the non existent category.

People arguing these idiotic semantics are just playing into distraction.

OK, but the fact remains you have a president who respects the teachings of the Koran more than the Bible. Sprinkle in a few right-wing religiously intolerant people and all of a sudden Obama looks like a saint.

I will not quote scripture. I have read the Bible front to back twice and the Quran thrice.
To say the Bible does not teach violence and racism throws away half of the book, the Old Testament.

You cannot pick and choose what parts of the Bible you believe in and still expect the god of the entire book to be OK with you.

Facepalm.

So you think there would be these same statements if the US wasn't at war with a bunch of Muslim states?

So Obama respects it or he is just pretending to. People really need to learn how to cut through the BS. Don't believe everything you hear on TV.

I read the Bible every day and I assure you I am not picking and choosing. What is probably not being communicated to you is that there is a change. The Bible, in its entirety, describes God's plan of redemption for humanity, spanning generations of people from all different walks of life. And if you would like to enlighten us more about how innocent the Quaran is go for it.
