I take my leave from ATS

Dear ATS members, during my time spent on ATS, i have enjoyed every moment, whether it be posting interesting stuff (my best would have to be in the signature), or defending my posts against endless Americans . Unfortunately, there have been some sour moments, which have caused me to make this decision, and i regret it. I have decided to take my leave from ATS, maybe not forever, but for a short while just to re-evaluate the aspects which have occured. To VVV, sorry if you misunderstood my post, i am not racist To Jace26, i will miss smashing all the threads with you, man did we cause some havoc . It has been a hell of a time, and for that i thank you all.

And with that ATS, i take my leave for a short while. Whether it be a day, a week, a month, 1 year, i don't know. But something tells me i'll be back.

I think it's kinda healthy to leave ATS for a while. All the doom and gloom... I took two years off and it was a refreshing break.

Godspeed to you, enjoy your "vacation" and come back when you can. You will be missed.

i know what you mean cause i left for a bit. things can be frustrating here and this site is a perfect example of why democracy,communism,socialism and all the like will never ever work.
we're humans and as soon as some one thinks differently,the whole system breaks down!
any way have a safe and a good journey. your the second person i said farewell to on this site today!
maybe the mods should watch this trend cause i see a lot more coming.

Thanks heaps VVV. It is good to know that i atleast left a somewhat decent impression on you, a famous member of ATS. I don't know if the same can be said with numerous other members Anyway, thanks for the wishes and stay safe mate

I'm guessing what Rising Against said and what many others are complaining about on ATS.

The racism, the nastiness... the rise in trolls and angry, bigoted hateful people joining?


Who knows though man, could be any reason I guess.

Well I guess if leaving this site keeps you safe from trolls, angry people, and bigots...then you all might want to stay in your houses too!

There is a whole world full of them to deal with...they just happen to be on ATS too!

Yes but you have no choice but to go to work, interact, go shopping and mingle with people you'd rather not.
Everyone has a choice whether or not they log onto a site that has frankly, become a cesspool of disgusting, extremist views...

It still has all the great content it once had and there are still excellent members and some fantastically lovely people here... absolutely.

But it's all the wankers that people have had enough off.

Every touchy subject turns into a bitch fest and the thread gets closed because Stormfront decide to spam the crap out of it.... people just spewing hate from every orifice

ATS has become a very negative place.... very negative.

If people want a break from that, why should it bother you?

The world is full of crap right now, people falling on hard times, jobs being lost, prices rising.... it's insane out there right now.

When the place you use for escapism and entertainment and chilling out and socialising also becomes like this and is FULL of nasty people spouting their bile on every single forum and almost every single thread....

Why would you stay.... you'd at least stop posting as much, as I, and just about everyone else I know on ATS has done.


Hopefully it'll swing back the other way and become the fun, vibrant community it was/is sometimes...

Or maybe it'll just rot away from all the hate on here.

We'll see I guess.

Breaks are a good thing...time to reflect on what you have learned...or not learned...on your ATS visits!

A lot of awesome contributors heading out for one reason or another...but maybe they will come back with some great threads from the real world!
