You have to love the media's sensationalist BS. This poor women was under house arrest for years. She did stand for election and won 45 seats in parliament. The country is still completely controlled by the military and she has no power to do anything. I have how the media just spins a story for its own reasons. She can't do a darn thing. Glad to see her out of jail though...

I would not call her totally powerless, still a lot of elections to go by the sounds of it for the party. Has a lot of public and international support as well. She does need to be a bit careful, but looks to have quite a special relationship with the military these days.
