I am so tired of people that hold the belief that every drug known to mankind is a conspiracy to make you a "zombie" incapable of rational thought or independent decision making. I can argue that the drugs I choose to take on doctors' recommendation have advanced my thought process above and beyond those that live in the confines of paranoia and emotional fanaticism. It is one of the hardest lessons in life to realize that your very own emotions based on your chosen beliefs can deceive you and lead you astray far more effectively than any person professing the grandest of conspiracy theories. Thank you for your post. I have never posted my thoughts on ATS before. Reading the multitude of negative and misinformed replies motivated me to respond in an effort to balance this thread with facts. Those that KNOW what propranolol IS through personal experience KNOW what I am talking about. Be careful folks with your red hot emotions trying to convince us "zombies" we are stupid and suckers. It is truly disturbing that if I posted a topic in a new thread about how much I love the sight of oak trees under a full moon my post would be overwhelmed with responses that range from "I know what you mean! I love summer nights! And throw in some lightning bugs for true magic!" to "Oak trees are genetically modified organisms designed by reptilians to produce toxic pollen that causes rectal cancer". Isn't freedom of speech grand? And one more thing: I think all internet communications should have a mandatory photo I.D. so you can see who says what.

so would i actually my friend like to know wot that other tablet was.if you google map whale island way in portsmouth england you will see the bases close proximity to the street .obviously you want see on the base etc but will see the start of it .anyway still get nightmares over it some times .my heart goes out to the poor fellow that died coming down from sky.and going back to that tablet and the forcefull nature it was presented to me was quite alarming ....

Viagra was originally designed to treat people with heart problems, then they discovered that it can also provide erections. Now, we live in a system where Viagra is included in governmental health plans and other health insurance programs. So, in conclusion, look how many people are on Viagra now? We see it everywhere (TV ads, magazines, Nascar) when actually many men could fix their problem by taking Vitamin A supplements and reducing their stress levels while increasing the amount of exercise they get.

I wonder what else this propranolol can do? What are its true advantages? If it makes people more relaxed and easier to control, well, that's an erection for the government, right?

propanolo studies found may induce erectile dysfunction in men and has been found to make ejaculation more difficult in quite a few cases.when i eventualy got prescribed them they did just that ! im off them now tottally.

I also used to have really bad depression and as you said it is normal. No not normal as in the fact that you should be depressed all the time but normal in the fact that people feel emotion for a certain reason and this is one of them. After overcoming depression by finding out the root cause i have expanded in all sorts of different directions and i can definately conclude that would not have happened had i been on medication. I view depression as a sort of death/rebirth if you are allowed to proceed through it NATURALLY, which unfortunately isn't allowed to happen with this mass medication.
I agree with the emotion making you human, its not so much the racism its just free thought and personal expression and opinion (racism is a form but i don't agree with it) so i understand what you are saying.

To all the people that say that propranolol works and does not have these affects, you are completely missing the point. Even if the drug does not function in that way the drug is being marketed for that reason to aid in the dumbing down process and has been manufactured to also sedate the individual. Yes it may work for your heart or however but i can assure you it was not its only intention and maybe they just failed.

There is nothing to fear of emotion, just its misuse.

Funny that you say '___' is barely spoken about, as its the same with '___'. I used to dissagree with lsd until i had a friend who told me it was a very eye opening awakening sort of experience then read up a little and now seem to agree with him with all the bashing it has recieved.
Its very interesting there as we now pretty much have two opposites, the drugs that are being pushed and the ones supressed. Now it is very easy to conclude that the drugs that are being pushed will have an effect on people that is wanted, as it is sedation it is also easy to see that any drugs that are being bashed may have the opposite effect as they are unwanted. (not coc aine, if anyone came to that conclusion you know nothing about the cartels of the US government)
Which then makes me think of marijuana, the only reason it is illegal is because hemp threatened the plastic industry and then the FDA was birthed to regulate it. However it also makes you wonder if something is more sinister at hand..
and any drug that has been pushed out of view of the public may have some sort of awakening qualities as it is obvious from our medication that sedation is on the agenda. Interesting thought to ponder.

The only conspiracy I see in this thread are all the S&Fs. Is some group trying to scare people away from one of the oldest, safest, very effective and inexpensive drugs (its inventor was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1968 for this discovery) towards the more expensive and dangerous modern alternatives.... such as SSRIs?

Here's a sales pitch to the Pentagon for a vaccine to cure religion, yes, it's not joke. Despite the lies spread by the fed, the med and their bastard child, the media, autism is caused by vaccines mainly, though other sources of toxins, esp'y heavy metals and most particularly amalgams, are also a major factor. Ooops, did I say chemtrails? Oh, and did I say that vaccines cause far more illness than they ever prevented? Now you know just how completely insane the government and the pharmaceutical companies have become. Watch your back, because it is going to get worse. This is three years graduate research, intensive use of experimental designs, extensive coursework in upper division physiology, chemistry and math, 4.00 gpa in my major. Not to brag about credentials, any idiot can see through all this stuff, but it's no longer easy to find one with the lights still on, or if they are, nobody really lives there anymore.

I actually took about three bottles of this to end my life, obviously to no avail. It does nothing more than lower your blood pressure and hear rate, Cut mine to near comatose but this drug has really no mind altering qualities, not on me anyhow. Just my guinea pig testimony.

Good to know, but like the member a few posts below yours stated, they were basicly comatose since it lowered his blood pressure so drastically, yet he states that it wasn't mind altering. Well, as long as someone is too exhausted or tired to fight, they certainly are easier to control. The fact that it doesn't help in the love making department only adds to the amount of TV the person is going to be exposed to. As I see it, this is a double win for the government. People will be sluggish and getting more programming time (TV). This is a win win for our selected officials. Those who are on this drug are going to be more easily coerced and unable to stand up for themselves when they realize what's going on. All our government knows to do is to keep us entertained and most humans are very compliant.

I can point out one very simple reason why there is no way there is any conspiracy here. The drug in question improves a person's performance (hence why it is banned in the Olympics) and if anything TPTB want to pacify us, not empower us.

As a musician I have used Beta Blockers before to combat stage fright and performance anxiety. It is very, very common among professional musicians, especially classical musicians where perfection is so overrated. I can say first hand they are extremely helpful. They block the physical symptoms that are commonly associated with nervousness, such as cold hands, shaky hands/feet, stuttering speech, etc. I have also noticed I am less shy in social situations or when meeting new people when on them, and just feel generally more empowered socially. It is obvious why the Olympics has banned them. While they won't make you any stronger or faster, they will provide an advantage in sports that are very technical such as martial arts or archery.

As a general rule of thumb, whatever is good for you or empowering or helpful in any way will be banned by the federal government. Just look at all the junk science and propaganda behind the smearing of steroids and human growth hormone for example. When used correctly and not abused, they will phenomenally improve a person's health, increase bone density, muscle density and mass, repair organ tissue, aid in fat loss and overall reverse the aging process. The only people who suffer from adverse effects of steroids are those who have no idea what they are doing - they use too high of quantities, don't cycle them correctly, or use the wrong gear altogether. If the reason behind their illegality was truly due to their side effects in this very small percentage of users, then they wouldn't be constantly pushing psychiatric drugs onto the population most of which have much worse effects than steroids and affect a much larger percentage of users.

They ban the substances that empower people and push the substances which pacify and are harmful to people. So i think if there is going to be any conspiracy involving beta blockers it will be the other way around. Some politicians will start spewing BS about how "dangerous" they are citing bogus studies and begin pushing propaganda to get them prohibited under law.

Good point. So, maybe they're planning on using it for soldiers and fighter pilots?
I posted some information recently that stated within a released document that they are wanting to replace soldiers with drones because there is a lower number of mistakes with robots.

It would be really scary if our military was composed of robots, drones, and soldiers on meds that make them more skilled and accurate.

We are being dumbed down because the people who are trying to control us are dumb.

They don't want to change.

The "American Way of Life" is their way of life.

They don't want to change it.

They have to do something to get some kind of control over people. They don't want people thinking and innovating. They have inundated people with stupid media, stupid wars, stupid fears, stupid politicians and have insisted that we all take these things seriously.

If propranolol is not the drug they add to the dumbing down mix, something like it will be.

Remember, the limits to growth are the limits imposed by the elite's ability to control and manage growth. The conditions under which we as a human society grow are the conditions deemed by the elite to be most conducive to the perpetuation of elite control.

If hundreds of thousands have to die in Iran or millions in the Soviet Union have to die as a condition necessary to the maintenance of control by the elite, then that is what will take place. If Africans have to be kept in a condition of economic prostration in order that the elite maintain control, then that is what will take place.

If all of humanity has to live in misery for another hundred years until the elite can get its ducks in a row to be able to preside over and control an unprecedented explosion of technical innovation and elevation of the standard of living, then that is what will happen.

Control. Elite control is the highest common factor in any historical development on this planet. If control is not in place, no constructive improvement in the lot of humanity will be permitted to take place.

The element of elite control is the harshest element on the planet. We have to learn its ways and how to survive in it.
