In a surprise move, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul both announced today that they are ending their presidential campaigns and throwing their support behind
Rick Santorum. The move shocked observers, including Senator Santorum, as Governor Romney seemed poised for a decisive victory in Wisconsin and
Congressman Paul was in talks with the Romney camp about a VP appointment.
The governor and congressman Paul both concluded they have "no chance" to win the general election in December and that a Santorum candidacy in 2012
was the best chance for republican victory.
In another shocking turn of events today, Santorum has selected Al Sharpton as his running mate. Santorum made the announcement today on CNN. While
describing the relationship between himself and Sharpton, Santorum was quoted as saying, “If Al and I had a son together he would look like
Trayvon.”
Just having a little April Fools fun!!
