This recipe is so easy it's unreal, and OH SO GOOD!!

Ingredients:

2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
1 graham cracker or oreo pre-made pie crust
chocolate chips

Peel the labels off of the sweetened condensed milk, put them in a large pan (unopened) and cover them with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to barely boil the water. Make sure you keep the cans covered in water! Boil for 3 hours, take the cans out of the water, let cool for awhile until you can comfortably handle the cans.

Open the cans and pour/spread into the pie crust, top with chocolate chips (either melted or whole). Refrigerate for several hours, slice and enjoy!

I recommend very small slices, it is very rich!

Not if you keep them covered in water. If you open the cans when they are too hot, the caramel will literally shoot out the top, so it's important to wait until you can comfortably handle the cans

I have made this with the chocolate flavored sweetened condensed milk too, and put chocolate frosting between the caramel and pie crust..... talk about a sugar rush though!

I have made this numerous times, the only thing I do different is top it with cool whip and then pieces of crushed heath toffee bars. Yumm-O!
