I hate to speculate, because I think the vast majority of the sounds have natural explanations. I think during certain weather conditions like cold still nights, sound can carry a long way, I think fracking has something to do with it, I think some geological things are happening, but they have probably always happened, etc., etc., but.......

Yes, I think there are underground tunnels and underground bases, and I think possibly there is construction going on, or perhaps accidents are happening, or perhaps there are even attacks underway. We know the government is overly concerned with terrorism that seems unapparent at the surface, maybe it is happening below the ground? I hate to admit that it is even a possibility, but since I do believe the tunnels exist, then I can't ignore the possibilities.

I would be willing to bet that it is either just foundation problems or an improperly abandon sanitary line. The problem is localized to only this Catholic school. No need to jump to rash conlusions until the building is inspected.

The morning news talked about prep being made for a really bad fire season in all those states. it is very dry, they said there was a reprieve with a small storm but they are expecting one of the worst fire seasons on record and controled burns is about all they can do to prepare.

Seriously though, one of these "simultaneous" controlled burns killed two people in Colorado! Gosh talk about damage control, RIP!

these cannot all be coincidental fires, all organized by numerous fire departments from many counties and states, and ALL lit and then extinguished ALL of these fires simultaiously within an hour!,

I'm in North Carolina, also mentioned in the OP as having "steam plumes" and whatnot. I've not seen anything, either, nor have I even heard of anything like that in NC.

I'm with Phage - it's giant worms! I killed one when I went looking for the volcanic steam vents. I was going to photograph it, but dontcha know that just as I was digging out my camera, a dinosaur popped up from the Hollow Earth and ate it before i could get the picture! Isn't that the way it always goes?

It was weird but I coincidentally learned something the other day. I had a plastic cutting board and I used it to put diced vegges in my pot on the stove, when i tilted it, there was a hug wave of sound, I moved it back and forth, it was weird, at only one angle it amplified the almost silent above stove fan and made it HUGE! Sound is weird.

Mr DUTCH points out/asks since when do "control burns" cause shockwaves or mini-storm fronts? ..

He says it looks like an ash pyroclastic flow cloud during an 'eruption'.

Perhaps someone can debunk this by showing it is just a WILDFIRE or "CONTROLLED BURN"

I can't buy into the whole "underground bases" thing 100%. Honestly, I just don't hear much disputing them, so all I have for the most part is knowledge of what does exist, rumors of a ton of stuff that allegedly exists, but no real dispute against it. It seems that alot of stuff that isn't swept under the rug is ignored by the other side. Can't make up my mind one way or another, until I see one for myself, or see that one doesn't exist for myself, lol. Cheyenne Mtn is an example of one that we know exists, btw. But even then we have allegations of "beyond our knowledgeable tech" stories emanating from the underground. (pun intended).

To add fuel to the fire, it makes sense that if they can really tunnel (hundreds of feet per hour?) and they got a bit close to the surface, it would be apparent. The amount of energy being transferred to the walls of the tunnel as they are allegedly superheated and glassed over (in a short) has got to compact the surrounding ground. I have all sorts of other imaginative ideas along those lines (seriously, just watch "Tremors"... Kevin Bacon rocks! lol). Stupid movie... I was freaked out to walk in the prairie for a good month after that.
