Huge Lottery-Picking Numbers.

Today, I plan on buying my lottery tickets like everybody else. Knowing full well that my chance is very slim. Actually 1 in 175,000,000. Dreaming I know. But what fun!

My question is, is random better or picking your own numbers? Does it even matter?

On the lottery stuff I have read...statistically..it's better for you to choose your number...

however, like you said..the chances are so slim...but good luck!

It's Haram (forbidden) for me to play games that involve money, so no chance for me to win that half billion. Lol, yet still I'm not mad, UMADBRU?

What is stopping someone to buy all the combinations and coming out with a hefty profit?

when we ran a shop doing the english lottery it never seemed to stop muslim people coming in an having a go on the lottery and they'd come in and cash winning tickets so long as the shop was quiet

I thought I saw the guy from Khan say that there were 179 million different combos..so yeah..

but what if there are multiple winners (which I think there will be...) then that person that bought all combos would come out short.

I bet a lot of big companies pooled and that's where the winners will be tonight..someone is gonna win it though..just think today that dolt is sitting around dreaming and midnight tonight they wont be able to contain themselves!

I don't think it matters. There's no statistical evidence for this drawing as it is the largest in world history.

Go with what feels right.

Me neither. Good luck to you, Druid. The anticipation is what's fun for me. I wouldn't know what to do with all that money. I can count on one hand how many times I have bought a lottery ticket in my lifetime. Now it is up to 640million. Winning 5 numbers is around 300k. That would be nice to win.

Okay...I just looked into the ancient mysterious stone divining bowl...and saw these numbers:
3, 11, 15, 32, 41, 52

Whomsoever uses these numbers and wins...don't forget to toss a million my way : )

When someone wins, what happens to the money from tickets sold between then and the previous lotto day? I'm pretty sure it doesn't roll over into the next pot, because they always start out small.
