It depends on how the US wants to play it. If it goes hard ball so will the response. If it is open and looking for answers it will find them.

BRICS trade volumes :

China's trade (exports + imports) with :
-India : 43.38 billion $
-Brazil : 42.40 billion $
-Russia : 38.75 billion $
TOTAL : 124.53 billion $

China's trade with :
-EU : 327 billion euros (425 billion $)
-US : 298.26 billion $
-Japan : 228.78 billion $
-Hong Kong : 174.93 billion $
-South Korea : 156.21 billion $
-Taiwan : 106.22 billion $
-Australia : 60.13 billion $
-Malaysia : 51.97 billion $
-Singapore : 47.86 billion $
-Thailand : 38.19 billion $
TOTAL (without Hong Kong) : 1,412.62 billion $

In other words, China's trade with NON-BRICS countries is 11,34 times (1134%) bigger than the trade with BRICS countries.

Leading trade partners of :

-China = Export : EU / Imports : Japan
-Russia = Export and Imports : EU
-India = Exports and Imports : EU
-Brazil = Exports and Imports : EU
-South Africa = Exports and Imports : EU

It is nice that BRICS wants something...it is just UNREAL to achieve it.

China is the MAIN economic power of BRICS (total GDP of BRICS is 13.9 trillion) with 7.3 trillion $ GDP, almost HALF of the entire BRICS.
What exactly do BRICS countries expect to achieve when their main economic power (China) have 11 times higher trade volume with West then with rest of BRICS?

Maybe a cataclysmic even will wipe out EU, US and all the West, leaving BRICS countries to rule the world economics
?

I think the day when the US dollar will lose the status of international reserve currency is approaching fast.

The consequences could be harsh for the American economy... Just imagine what happens if nobody accepts the dollar on international trade anymore, and demands payment in other currencies, like the euro or the Chinese yuan...

i agree although it wont be the euro that's for sure, since the same banksters are running that currency into the ground with the dollar. austerity anyone? this could go very well or very bad, but i don't think there is an in between...

Maybe he was refering to China and Russia (2 heads) and the trade (exports and imporst) between BRICS countries (2 x 5 : imports + exports = 2 x 5 BRICS countries).

Just more NWO jargon to subordinate independent countries into regional and conceptual allegiances.

China rules the roost already, and now our local mineral resources are going to China, instead of the former post-colonial set-up. They move in their own labor, and channel African resources back home.

The Chinese version of "democracy" rules already, and last year the ANC wouldn't give the Dalai Lama a visa to please the Chinese.

Theoretically, what concerns me is that in SA, if there is a World War III we'd have to fight for China.
That is ideologically clear.

But despite all this socialist bonding, SA still sells arms to the US, and despite any claims of finances, the BRICS Nations are more of an ideological construct.

SA is pretty much the underdog in terms of making demands.
