This is the latest UFO sighting in Las Vegas. A pretty long video at 7mins plus. According to the author, they lasted more than 2 hours in the same spot so definitely not planes.

Based on the Youtube replies, it seems that a lot of Las Vegas residents have seen this lights in the sky and many have called the government for explanation. They are always told that they are bats! These will be glowing bats if the authorities to be believed.

Chinese lanterns?

Mate, you posted 2 minutes after the thread was created. There is no way you could have watched the whole video!
It would allmost appear like you just jump in and comment on any ufo video you come across.

To the OP, i have no idea what this could be. With it being Vegas though, there are many lights around there, might be something ordinary indeed.

Comments in youtube indicate that there are many people in Las Vegas who have seen these lights. It seems that those lights appear near the beam of light from Luxor. Luxor's and the government's explanation is that they are bats. That is why the Youtube uploader also talked about bats in the video. One poster also mentioned that Luxor already turned off their beam of light which is a rare thing for Luxor to do.

Chinese lanterns don't move like the ones in the video.

To the OP, thanks for sharing.
I've no idea but I'm sure someone will come along with an explanation.

This is another video from a different angle. Seems legit. I think this could be a government project of some kind, man made orbs rather than UFO's.

When he zoom in on that second video, i see wing movement.

Could be bats or birds, insect are attracted to light so easy hunting for bats.

EDIT:Here we go...Debunked

articles.latimes.com...

LAS VEGAS — In a town known for its bountiful buffets, the most unusual one is staged at the Luxor Hotel-Casino, where freeloaders fly in for a feeding frenzy. We're talking bats, at a bug buffet, served after sunset not inside the pyramid-shaped hotel, but above it, in its famous "sky beam."

Birds, including nighthawks, also belly up to the light beam buffet. But the bats are the headliners.

moths going for the beam of light, bats going for the moths, man films it. aliens!

Man made, or not, still pretty friggin' awesome!

I am no expert of lanterns, but i cannot see lanterns moving so erratically. It probably was some man made experiment. Next explanation will be some skydiving thing, but if we take the word of the guy saying it lasted two hours i guess that wasn't it either.

C'mon you bloody aliens, prove us right!

Looks like bats to me. Might not be in this case, but I have seen many flying animals (bats, birds) illuminated by some city below look the same way. Of course, your seeing it you tube, and listening to the morons that a viewing something like this for the first time...so their idiotic and ignorant conversation has preconceived your notion a tad.

But yeah, can't be something mundane. Has to by something highly secret, alien, ufo, and totally kept secret from the rest of us.........except for the internet, lol.

That is very pretty

* The rest of my post is not geared solely toward the poster I responded to *

Seriously though, an ET could land right in front of most of you, get out, shake your hand and you'd still find ANY shred within your brain to debunk it.
I'm all for truth and I usually take a very neutral stance on these ufo sitings, but so many of you will grasp at anything to keep your world exactly the same as always.

Change is GOOD! Even (dare I say it?)...imagination. It is a BLESSING!

I'm not saying you should just blindly believe--I see few people here who would readily transcribe to that. But in your quest for free-thinking and truth-finding I see most of you closing all the doors and windows to anything that doesn't already describe your current reality.

In the end who cares if those are weird glowing bats, new human technology, or ETs giving us peaceful displays of their existence,

As neat of an effect it is, the beam of light blasting out to space and illuminating organically flying orbs in the sky, it's pretty freaking clear that these are bats out for dinner.

I didn't even have to turn on HD and I could see the wings flapping in the last zoom-in towards the end.

Let's see a video without the Luxor' light on. I am not aware of any self-illuminating bats on planet earth. If they were still illuminated, then I think it would be safe to say this is a legit sighting. But uh, holy misinterpreted batman!

After the last couple of comments i watched the second link again and i really paid attention but i just cannot see any wings flapping

It looks to me like perfect round objects illuminated by light. The movement and synchronization is also not typical for a group of birds or bats or similar. Weird

You might want to read the comments in the Youtube video. A lot of people from Las Vegas have seen those lights and they for one do not believe that those are bats. Since when do bats glow in the sky?

The only problem with that being bats, is that there are repeated patterns.
I've seen lot's of bat swarms going after bugs, but not once did I view a consistent triangle of 3 bats moving in a prolonged rotation.

There was an other rotating circular a pattern at the very top of it, that reversed rotation close to the end.

Some of it reminded me of a DNA like design.

Don't know what that was but did not act like bats to me.

Nice Find ! Thank You

P.S. If those were were all White Bats (albino)
it might be a more viable explanation, But when bats here are flying around bright light they are still brown looking or even a Irish-setter red and they don't appear to glow or give off their own light.

there is no "repeated pattern" anytime you have 3 objects anywhere near each other, a triangle is formed. and that triangle takes on different shapes....most are not symmetrical.....

look at the video at HD on a huge screen, like a TV or really big good quality monitor....dont look at the embed at 320dpi.....look at it as large as you can....in a high resolution..

i see no reason why these cannot be bats....

Gotta love the fact that the guy sounds like Jack Black AND he had to add a Z to the UFO under his YT name.

My conclusion is that it's probably bats only due to the altitude where they seem to be at. They dont look very high in the sky and heck, even the Cosmopolitan is higher than they appear. I know they see a plane pass by them but I'm pretty sure the plane isnt flying high either. They have an airport just right down the strip.

The Luxor light is a 315.000 watt beam, you could throw a turd up there and it would glow.
Bats are covered with hair which reflects light very well, even dark collored hair, and with that light beam, i don't see why it coulden't be bats.

www.vegas4locals.com...

Only Las Vegas could boast the world's brightest, most powerful beam of light. pyramid) the 315,000-watt light beam is visible to airplane passengers from as far as 250 miles away!
