All of you do realize that the sociological mechanism that is at work in the Trayvon Martin case is the exact same mechanism that got Obama elected President, right? It is like some sort of perfect laboratory experiment. The subjects are the Black people of the United States. Their behavior in both situations is identical. They are repeatedly acting on emotion with very little reasoning. They are not interested in the objective facts. They are driven by the color of a human beings skin, and their own extreme prejudicial hatred of all that they fear has prevented them from succeeding in the way of their dreams. Quick to blame. Quick to violent action. No understanding. Extreme anger and fear, self loathing and scapegoating.

Let's knock this thought around for a while, eh?

I think you are generalizing a bit too much but are right for the people that fit in your description. I think the whole situation is mostly to disarm citizens in the long run and to fuel racism since it's great to divide people from the true enemies.

I think both parties have voters that act on emotion. Republicans are sure to get 100% of the "redneck typed" individuals that are racists against everything that isn't white and God wants us to vote Republican, no?

It's no wonder MSM is doing such a great job, more than 50% of voters vote on emotion.

The war in Afghanistan and Iraq had something to do with people voting Democrat in the last election. Plus Bush had already been in office for 8 years, so the people wanted a breath of fresh air.

I don't think any republican was going to win the 08 election.

Couple all that with the free fall the economy was in and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to come to the conclusion that voters were fed up with republicans and especially Bush.

OK, - Obama didn't get elected because the GOP oversaw the largest tanking of an
economy in world history???

Or because the VP pick was not smarter than a fifth grader?

What you are doing is called projecting; that is; you pinning your opinions and biases
on external targets that are the subject of your intense feelings.

I suspect you dislike Obama???

You are projecting your feelings about Obama and black America and pinning it upon black
America

Psychological projection or projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person subconsciously denies his or her own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, usually to other people. Thus, projection involves imagining or projecting the belief that others originate those feelings.[1]

en.wikipedia.org...

They are repeatedly acting on emotion with very little reasoning.

Like the ATS crowd that thinks Obama is an illegal immigrant, Muslim, Socialist
regardless of the evidence to the contrary...

PROJECTING

They are not interested in the objective facts.

See Obama's main opponents here how have supported the 237 false birth certificates
accusers have presented in the last three years.

Some people get offended at the mere mention of "black people" in a sentence. To them, that's racist.
