It does sound like an inner ear issue, infection or just blocked. If you can't afford a doctor you can try this, when I've had earaches I've used it and it works.

Heat some olive oil with some garlic in it on the stove, so that the antibacterial properties of the garlic and mix in with the oil. Let it cool but still keep it warm and use a dropper of some sort, even a spoon if you can and drop a few drops into your ear, then use this like normal ear drops. Olive oil loosens buildup and helps it drain as well as anti-bacterial properties but the garlic is more well known for fighting the infections.

Sounds like your blood pressure is high. You can get it checked at most retail pharmacies like Walmart for free.

HI bluebutterfly

Like this route for minor earaches and clearing out waxm, but only one bit of caution on this route - introducing oil into the ear can carry an infection deeper into the ear. The garlic wont kill everything.

A doc may be the only way to go...

I thought I could solve a bit of gastric bloating and pain with a warm coffee enema....turns out I had appendicitis!

Maybe a little much on the old information front..but I think it's potentially illustrative!

You probably need your ears cleaned out; if you can't afford a doctor then don't complain - live with it until it clears

How rude.

Before you try anything else I suggest trying to get your C1 (Upper Cervical) released by a trained Doctor or Chiropractor/Back Doctor.

At the top of your spine you have these floating bones that can become mis-alligned through sleeping in the wrong position/strain/turning quickly.

A typical symptom of a misalligned C1 are painfull preassure headaches when you increase heart rate.

I spent about a year on Ibuprofen before another Doc I'd never seen before did this for me and within 24 hours I was back to normal after a year of pain.

Initially I got mine re-alligned every 3 mths , then 6 mths and now go once per year but it is apparently an old school "Bone Setting" treatement which is overlooked by modern medicine due to their reliance on Big Pharma kickbacks.

I've reccomended this to 3 people at my gym who had similar symptoms and in all 3 cases it worked almost instantly.

I know you said you were broke but a good chiro should do it for you for 60 dollars ...Let us know how you get on....

I can't afford to make a trip to the doctor to see what's up, so I was hoping some of the minds here might know.

Is it because you are in the States? Sorry but this is the most damning indictment of a medical system I have heard. Here you are posting on a conspiracy forum askling medical questions of a largely unqualified membership. Because of the conspiracy focus someone is bound to jump on the bandwagon and tell you it's a vibration/new age thingy. They will be telling you what you would like to hear - not what you need to hear.
Sorry but I don't think the forum rules should allow either seeking or giving a diagnosis.
Get yourself to a doctor.

Go to see the doctor if it is concerning you. I don't want to scare you with my own story, but going to the doctor is the only thing anyone here on ATS should responsibly recommend.

*IMO*
You need to go to a doctor or hosptial as a matter of urgency.
Finda county hosptial if you can if money is an issue.

*IMO*
Best case - high blood pressure issue.
Worst case, the symptoms you describe are well known signals of an aneurysm - which if left to burst, can lead to a stroke.

I have experienced something like your headache but with that difference that it wasn't my head that was felling like it was going to explode, but my heart! At some times I can fell even now raised beats and speeded up beating of my heart. It kinda fells like it is going to explode. I am felling very scared during this " stronger hearth beats". I don't know the reason for it, maybe it is some kind of a warning or I am just sitting in front of the computer too much and don't exercise enough...

I have what you have, but just a little bit less, a DR will not know what it is you will need to go to an ear specialist.

Do you listen to loud music or are around loud noises often if so there is a good chance you have wrecked one of your ears.

My problem is is that my ear drum is a little loose. therefore loud noises can begin to vibrate the ear drum a little bit more than normal people causing a loud humming sound and immense pressure (like on an airplane) move away from the noise and it goes away.

Best option to keep it away, spend an insane amount of money on DJ filtered ear plugs.
or just wear one and deal with not hearing to good out of that ear at party's

sounds like two possible issues. High blood pressure, and a possible ear infection.

Cost aside, go to a clinic or something and get checked out, infections can spread bud.

If you live in or near a large city, there are free clinics. Even if you're in a small town, there should be a local Health Dept. If there is a hospital, many are "non-profit" meaning you don't have to have insurance to be treated. Do you really want to wait around for it to go away? It may be something as simple as a ear infection, could be something Much more serious.

Go to a Doctor now!

Screw the bills.

Better alive and poor than dead and poor, imo.

I would agree, get your blood pressure checked. Walk into a wal mart and use one of their free machines as someone else said. If all is ok then consider that you are not the only one.

My ears have been ringing for over a month. It started in late Jan/early Feb after a very powerful psychic experience and has not let up yet. Although now it comes and goes. if I think about it I can hear the ringing but if I distract myself it is not there.

It could also be allergies. This is a really BAD year for allergies in the US with the early spring. That is also messing with my head, and sometimes the headaches from sinus pressure do make your ears ring and can give you a headache so bad on the top of your head that you hurt if your hair is even touched lol.

Check the blood pressure first though

i would try the candle thing in your ear(you need a partner to help) that will drain your ear.
you say yo walk fast,so do i,i do everything fast.hyperactive.this makes me hypoglycemic(cant produce enough sugar) just slow down! i know its hard.
quiet time at home with no electronics helps. try to meditate.
check your diet.stress may be the problem.some is good, too much is bad.

I have similar symptoms. None are painful, but they are annoying. I get the pressure and the popping and then an intense ringing starts. The ringing is not tinnitus, I have that too but it is not the same thing, this is different. It has never caused me problems and it has happened for years. One thing that occasionally happens when the pressure builds and the popping starts, I will begin to feel like I am in some sort of cloud or haze, if you will.

I'm going to reply to just your question, without reading any other responses.
Uncertain of your life, my first thought is this... what ever you have consumed of intake(food/drinks) would be what.. should be condiered first, unless you are on any meds for reasons that warrent those feelings . I to have realize, once I have engest food that has been in the past no problem, comes over me why I feel as I do. This should be a light bulb going off.. What has changed there in its proccess before you eat it?? No control there as such..

Other aspects of this.. the air I breath.. If I have I been in allot of traffic, sucking in that air from trucks diesel fumes around me,
Or the home... here is a thought... maybe something there I'm not aware of,you might ask more so if you have pets. Not certain of all what they can bring in.

Where are you located in the World, US?

I can presume that to will make a difference as well.

I could go on forever.

Jesse

Go to a pharmacy and take your blood pressure. If it falls in the normal range ask the pharmacist for pseudofed. If you dont see relief in a few days go to the dr. Nobody here can diagnose you over the internet its just one of those things you gave to handle in the real world. Hope the pseudofed gives you some relief.

I think a lot of ATS members are suffering the same sort of symptoms as you lately. Pounding headache. I attribute it to the never ending Martin/Zimmerman threads.

But seriously, I'm a bit of a google doctor myself when I feel somethings wrong. See what your internet searches of your symptoms could be. If they worsen, I would get to a doctor. Your health really shouldn't have a price tag on it. Sorry, I'm from Canada and have a great health care system.

All the best.
