As far as every other country in the world goes,they all had nothing to do with the american space program.Any country in the world,except america,would have known nothing about what was really going inside nasa,the us military and the us government,concerning their collaborative moon mission deception and so every other country wouldnt have been able to go along with a conspiracy they knew nothing about...

Some people spend alot of time trying to prove that the Moon Landings were a Hoax...well if you look at this from the reverse....it is IMPOSSIBLE TO PROVE THAT THEY WERE FAKED!

A few simple bits of information which is impossible to disprove....
1. Thousands of people around the world as well as other Countries were able to simply own either a cheap HAM Radio and broadcaster and TRIANGULATE the position of the Lunar Bound Craft from different points on the Globe that is Earth that faced the Moon. Every moment of every day that the Lunar Craft approached the Moon...as the Astronauts talked with Houston or even the Array in Australia and other people in different countries around the world...could recieve this signal from the Lunar Bound Craft and with Communication with others on whatever side of the Earth that the Moon was Facing...simple TRIG calculations could tell them how far out they were...how close to the Moon....or even where on the Moon they Landed and were talking to Mission Control....it is IMPOSSIBLE TO FAKE THIS WITHOUT SENDING A CRAFT TO THE LUNAR SURFACE.

2. Questions that were asked of the Apollo Astronauts and their responses had to be sent from Earth...experience a time delay due to distance...and a delay for recieving a response. Talking about questions asked by reporters as well as international media could not be relayed without someone being on the Moon.

3. Their is a Mirror that we bounce a Laser beam off of to determine Lunar distance from Earth.

4. The Hubble Space Telescope can visually see the left on surface Landing Craft under carridges as well as rovers.

It would be cheaper to go to the Moon than try to fake going to the Moon. Split Infinity

By the mid-1950s, the U.S.-Soviet Cold War had worked its way into the fabric of everyday life in both countries, fueled by the arms race and the growing threat of nuclear weapons, wide-ranging espionage and counter-espionage between the two countries, war in Korea and a clash of words and ideas carried out in the media. These tensions would continue throughout the space race, exacerbated by such events as the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961, the Cuban missile crisis of 1962 and the outbreak of war in Southeast Asia.

Space exploration served as another dramatic arena for Cold War competition. On October 4, 1957, a Soviet R-7 intercontinental ballistic missile launched Sputnik (Russian for "traveler"), the world's first artificial satellite and the first man-made object to be placed into the Earth's orbit. Sputnik's launch came as a surprise, and not a pleasant one, to most Americans. In the United States, space was seen as the next frontier, a logical extension of the grand American tradition of exploration, and it was crucial not to lose too much ground to the Soviets. In addition, this demonstration of the overwhelming power of the R-7 missile--seemingly capable of delivering a nuclear warhead into U.S. air space--made gathering intelligence about Soviet military activities particularly urgent.
A New Urgency

In 1958, the U.S. launched its own satellite, Explorer I, designed by the U.S. Army under the direction of rocket scientist Wernher von Braun. That same year, President Dwight Eisenhower signed a public order creating the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), a federal agency dedicated to space exploration.

Eisenhower also created two national security-oriented space programs that would operate simultaneously with NASA's program. The first, spearheaded by the U.S. Air Force, dedicated itself to exploiting the military potential of space. The second, led by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Air Force and a new organization called the National Reconnaissance Office (the existence of which was kept classified until the early 1990s) was code-named Corona; it would use orbiting satellites to gather intelligence on the Soviet Union and its allies.
Space Race Heats Up

In 1959, the Soviet space program took another step forward with the launch of Luna 2, the first space probe to hit the moon. In April 1961, the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first person to orbit Earth, traveling in the capsule-like spacecraft Vostok 1. For the U.S. effort to send a man into space, dubbed Project Mercury, NASA engineers designed a smaller, cone-shaped capsule far lighter than Vostok; they tested the craft with chimpanzees, and held a final test flight in March 1961 before the Soviets were able to pull ahead with Gagarin's launch. On May 5, astronaut Alan Shepard became the first American in space (though not in orbit).

Later that May, President John F. Kennedy made the bold, public claim that the U.S. would land a man on the moon before the end of the decade. In February 1962, John Glenn became the first American to orbit Earth, and by the end of that year, the foundations of NASA's lunar landing program--dubbed Project Apollo--were in place.
Achievements of Apollo

From 1961 to 1964, NASA's budget was increased almost 500 percent, and the lunar landing program eventually involved some 34,000 NASA employees and 375,000 employees of industrial and university contractors. Apollo suffered a setback in January 1967, when three astronauts were killed after their spacecraft caught fire during a launch simulation. Meanwhile, the Soviet Union's lunar landing program proceeded tentatively, partly due to internal debate over its necessity and to the untimely death (in January 1966) of Sergey Korolyov, chief engineer of the Soviet space program.

December 1968 saw the launch of Apollo 8, the first manned space mission to orbit the moon, from NASA's massive launch facility on Merritt Island, near Cape Canaveral, Florida. On July 16, 1969, U.S. astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Michael Collins set off on the Apollo 11 space mission, the first lunar landing attempt. After landing successfully on July 20, Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon's surface; he famously called the moment "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
Conclusion of the Space Race

By landing on the moon, the United States effectively "won" the space race that had begun with Sputnik's launch in 1957. For their part, the Soviets made four failed attempts to launch a lunar landing craft between 1969 and 1972, including a spectacular launch-pad explosion in July 1969. From beginning to end, the American public's attention was captivated by the space race, and the various developments by the Soviet and U.S.

At least 39 former astronauts have suffered some form of cataracts after flying in space, according to a 2001 study by Francis Cucinotta of NASA's Johnson Space Center (see journal references below). Of those 39 astronauts, 36 had flown on high-radiation missions such as the Apollo Moon landings. Some cataracts appeared as soon as 4 or 5 years after the mission, but others took 10 or more years to manifest.

Scientists have long known of this link between radiation and cataracts, but they've never fully understood it. What exactly does radiation do to the lens of the eye to make it cloudy? Are astronauts' genes involved? Which ones?

Solving this puzzle might help people on Earth. Without ever traveling through space, more than half of people older than 65 get cataracts; cloudy lenses seem to be a natural result of aging. These old-age cataracts, some of them, resemble the cataracts astronauts get. If researchers can figure out what's happening inside astronauts' eyes, they might be able to develop medicines to stop the process.

That goal is many years away, though. First, "we have to understand the details--the genes and proteins and molecular pathways involved," says Eleanor Blakely, a scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). Supported by a NASA grant, she and her colleagues are experimenting with human eye tissue to learn these details.

"For good vision, the lens of the eye must be crystal clear," she says. The lens, shaped like an M&M, sits in the opening of the eye and focuses incoming light onto the retina. "At the center of the lens are transparent cells called 'fiber cells.' Damage to the lens can lead to clouding of the fiber cells, and this change in clarity is called a cataract."

In a healthy human eye, new fiber cells are constantly manufactured to replace old ones. The process begins with "epithelial cells," a type of stem cell that coats the front of the lens. When needed, epithelial cells flatten out and shed their nucleuses and other internal structures to become transparent fiber cells. It's an amazing metamorphosis. "During the final stages," she says, "all of the cell's organelles are disposed of by the cell in a carefully orchestrated process that leaves the cell alive, but basically a bag of crystalline proteins."

Blakely's group has shown that a radiation dose can upset the metamorphosis of epithelial cells, interfering with the formation of fresh fiber cells that make up the body of the lens.

They didn't deliberately irradiate people's eyes to figure this out, of course. Instead, they cultured human epithelial cells in petri dishes. As some of the cells were beginning to turn into fiber cells, her team exposed the cells to controlled doses of radiation. This work was done at LBNL and at the NASA Space Radiation Laboratory at the Brookhaven National Laboratory in Long Island, New York. Afterward, they used modern genetics tools to find out how the cells' genes and proteins responded.

They've found that a particular gene, Fibroblast Growth Factor 2 (FGF-2), jumps in activity eight-fold following a radiation dose. FGF-2 normally helps cells respond to stress. In this case, it seems to boost the activity of two other genes called "p21" and "p57." These genes control crucial events in the life cycle of a cell--e.g., when a cell divides to form two daughter cells, or when an epithelial cell transforms into a fiber cell. Blakely suspects that an imbalance of p21 and p57 leads to the formation of abnormal fiber cells and, thus, cataracts.

It takes a while for abnormal fiber cells to accumulate and visibly fog the lens. Years go by after high radiation missions before astronauts notice their cataracts. The time delay complicates research. It's hard to pinpoint the cause when you have to wait years for the effect.

Actually, because of differences in the Moon's orbital velocity and the inclination of its orbit, we have a phenomenon known as "nutation"which allows us to see a bit over the Moon's edge. The variations in the Moon's distance is also responsible for annular eclipses, in which the Sun's disk is not completely blocked by the Moon because of the difference in their apparent sizes. What does any of this have to do with the space program?

I'm not sure what the first part of your statement means, but very few people actually thought the "War of the Worlds" broadcast was real. The few gullible fools who didn't think to switch over to Ted Mack for confirmation were responsible for all the headlines.

You mention the korean war and i have read around twenty non fiction books about that war and i have watched about twice as many documentaries and not one of those books or documentaries ever mentioned one word about what i know that went on behind the scenes during that war,thats been intentionally supressed, purposefully hushed up and totally left out of the history books...

My uncle fought in the korean war,he was there from about late 1951 until around early 1953 and about 40 years later he told me something himself.About how he and other american soldiers,dozens of times on a regular basis,would wait until darkness and then go to their army supply depots and steal guns,ammunition, food and other supplies,load them into army trucks and drive to wherever the so called enemies front lines happened to be at the time.Then they would flash prearranged signals with their truck headlights,wait for the return signal from the so called enemy and then drive across the front lines and into the so called enemy zone and then they would trade items with the so called enemy and sell their american guns,ammunition,food and other supplies to the so called enemy.While they all laughed,joked and got drunk together.That went on and on and was over seen by the company commanders of both sides and so the mainstream public doesnt know much about any war and we are told even less...

you dont know much about R+D do you..

as an example, Holden, Australian arm of GM, built a car, the VE commodore. its just a car nothing special gets people from point a to point b, no real high tech gadgetry. it cost them about 1 billion dollars.

this is a car that ranges from $30kAUD to about $90kAUD with a special $150kaud model. These things dont fly to the moon are they secretly transferring bigbucks around like during the cold war too?

Theres really nothing funny about it at all.We are most likely living within a massive lie,a grand illusion.An intentionally projected three dimensional hologram and unfortunately,the sun is probably much closer and smaller that we are led to believe it is and it may even be an artificial light.A larger version of the lights we shine down into our glass tank terrariums,to keep our little pet animals warm and illuminated.As they live and die within their fabricated world,totally oblivious about whats really going on,while never knowing whats actually being done to them...

So have you explained telescopes? Are they internally rigged to project what TPTB want us to see through them, or is the "space" that we believe we're observing through the telescope actually a hologram or somesuch? Maybe a giant screen around the Earth?

If you've already addressed this, then my sincerest apologies. This is a juggernaut of a thread to try and find specifics at this point but I'm interested to see how you explain this one.

Astronauts never flew to the moon,never walked upon its surface and never flew back from the moon, imo. One of the shuttle astronauts graduated from the same high school as me.The astronauts who go into low earth orbit,are not in outer space,they are within the earths outer atmospheres and the earths exosphere extends outwards 300 to 600 miles and even that far is not in outer space...
